Better Companions - No Conflicts is a more modern approach. It doesn't have to edit anyone's NPC record directly. It additionally makes companions capable of sneaking, makes them take no fall damage, and will work for any mod-added companions that are using the vanilla companion system.

I'll be leaving this file up for anyone still using CIAUPA for whatever reason.

Description

Adds DLC support and Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch compatibility to Companion Infinite Ammo and Unbreakable Power Armour's MULTI version, while removing some of CIAUPA unnecessary edits to the vanilla companions. ESM flagged ESL, so won't take up a plugin slot. Requires UFO4P and CIAUPA.

As for the out of place edits, there was some edits to AI data and giving everyone a character preset flag. 
I've found that these were unnecessary for the function of the mod, in my testing.

YOU NEED TO GIVE THEM 1 AMMO FOR THEIR WEAPON, OR THE INFINITE AMMO WON'T TO WORK!

Companion Infinite Ammo and Unbreakable Power Armour still works in 2020! It was only lacking DLC support! (Gage and Longfellow.)
The only reason it wouldn't work is if you let something else overwrite it. For example, if CIAUPA adds keywords to Piper's NPC record, and if "Sexy Piper Big Tiddy Waifu 4k HD XXX Edition" adds new face data to it, then the lowest load order plugin overwrites the other mod's edits. Thus, if you load the other mod lower, you'll be breaking CIAUPA's implementation for Piper. These conflicts commonly mistaken for a busted mod by less experienced mod users. So these users whine, blaming the author. Then mob mentality sets in. More people whine. Eventually, the mod gets a reputation for being "broken" purely from incorrect posters, and new mod users are driven away faster than if you formatted DiMA's server racks.


Compatibility

I will not make patches for your waifu/husbando mods, nor any quest mods. Don't bother asking.
(I don't use them. I also have crappy internet, so I'm not going to download them.)

Incompatible with Sexy Piper Big Tiddy Waifu 4k HD XXX Edition.
Incompatible with all companion beautification mods, mods that edit companion stats/perk, and/or mods that otherwise edit companion NPC records.
Semi-incompatible with mod-added companions. They will need a patch. This will have no affect on them one way or the another, otherwise.
Compatible with Amazing FollowerTweaks.
Compatible with pretty much anything that doesn't touch vanilla companion records.

You are more than welcome to make patches, of course. I just won't be doing any myself.


Install & Uninstall

THESE STEPS ARE NECESSARY DO NOT SKIP THEM I SWEAR TO C'THULU.
1. To install, first you must dismiss all current companions.
2. Install the mod's dependencies if you don't have them, loading CIAUPA beneath UFO4P's plugin.
3. Install my plugin, loading it beneath both of the other dependencies's plugins.

To uninstall.
1. Dismiss all current companions.
2. Slap my plugin right out of your mod manager, and right into your recycle bin.
3. Throw in CIAUPA's plugin with it. You won't need it anymore.
