Maxson should look like a well groomed leader. He's shouldn't look like 50 miles of bad road that headbutted a pile of coal and forgot how to shave.

Elder Arthur Maxson is a leader. An inspiration to his troops. He defeated a Deathclaw when he was 13, brought the Outcasts back to the Brotherhood of Steel, and became Elder when he was only 16. He's a Maxson. A warrior.
When the Prydwen arrives, you're excited to get up there and meet the Elder. You walk onto the command deck, stand at the very back, ready to listen to his inspirational speech about defeating the dangers of the Commonwealth....but something seems a little off. When his finishes his speech and salutes, you walk up to him and realize what's wrong. Now that you can finally see him up close he looks like he headbutted a bucket of coal, hasn't showered in months, and forgot how to shave.
Seriously?? This is our leader??
When I first saw Maxson I was highly disappointed. I was expecting a well groomed, handsome man, not what Bethesda gave us. He barely leaves the command deck, much less the Prydwen, so how does he get that dirty? Is he sleeping in an exhaust pipe somewhere? Does he clean the floor with his face? At least he brushes his teeth....unlike a certain paladin we know.
I decided to give him a shower and trim his beard since he seems to have forgotten how. I removed all the dirt and blemishes from his face and smoothed out his skin. I picked a different preset group for his eyes, but I stayed in the same group for his nose and mouth, I just picked a different number. For his beard I picked the same preset option that Danse has. All of these are vanilla assets so you don't need to download anything else.
I'm also including a file that has all of the above, but with his beard gone. Why? Because I can. Elder Babyface. You know you were curious.
I've tested this with numerous other mods and it worked with all of them. If something doesn't work right please let me know. This has worked perfectly for me, so I'm not sure what issues would come up. This works nicely if you have a mod that allows you to have any NPC as a companion. He won't have the Your Thoughs/Relationship option, but at least he'll be pretty companion. Plus he's good in a fight.
If you have suggestions for other cosmetic mods, let me know and I'll try to make it happen.
INCOMPATABLE WITH: This mod is incompatible with Project Valkyrie after a certain point. They make edits to Maxson that changes his ID's which my mod doesn't edit
