First I am not an artist and this is the awesome artwork of Yogensia on Sketchfab.
This mod adds a single Zapper to the Commonwealth. (Big hint in one of the screenshots)
Pros
Free ammo! It's a recharger weapon like in Fallout New Vegas.
Very light as it's plastic.
Very powerful with the high level receiver mods.
It's an energy pistol and there's not so many energy weapon mods out there.
Cons
3 capacity just like in Duck Hunt.
Very weak melee as it's plastic.
Starts off very weak.
Receiver mods are only unlocked by non robot kills with a Zapper. You do need to attach them at a workbench.
Updates
Sadly, I'm not an artist. There's two bits really missing from this mod. One is the scope from the Zapper. I think that'd be really cool to add in. The other is a recharger pistol / rifle from New Vegas. I would love to see that back in Fallout 4. If you are an artist and interested in making either of those, please let me know as I'd love to work on it.
