About this mod

A new outpost settlement in Concord. ESP & ESL available.

What is it?

It's just a small settlement in Concord.  There's a little bit of wasteland to the East (and down the road) of the museum where random spawns occur, and I thought it had some potential.  It's not particularly large (about the same size as Oupost Zimonja), but enough to make a small settlement.  I'm also popping my settlement cherry as well so please be nice!

I've stripped out the spawns and some stuff that was there before, and moved some stuff around (the truck mainly), and as far as I'm aware it's all scrappable apart from the container the workbench is in.  There's also no quest to take the settlement, so just activate the workbench and you're good to go.  There is a raider spawn point which comes from the houses over the road as well.  Something to be aware of is the fact that it may pull aggro from the raiders that respawn in Concord, so it may well be worth buffing any defences in the direction of the museum as well.

Any issues?

Yep, but nothing really major.  The first one is the border needs some spit and polish.  The borders are actually meshes and a nightmare to do, but I've done it.  If you want shiny borders then this isn't for you.

There's also an issue where it kicks you out of the workbench near the edge of the East side.  I don't know what's causing this or even if it's actually down to my configuration (I had a problem with vanilla settlements doing the same which I'd fixed), but it only seems to happen at a certain spot.  If it happens just open the workbench again.

There is also a known bug in Fallout 4 where you can't sprint in external cells that have been changed.  This isn't my fault, and I can't fix it, but there is a way to fix it...
  • Go to Documents/My Games/Fallout4.
  • Open Fallout4.ini in Notepad (if you want a decent replacement, I really recommend Notepad++).
  • Add the following to the end of the file...
    [Gameplay]
    fPlayerDisableSprintingLoadingCellDistance=0
  • Save file.

What about conflicts?

Probably anything that touches that area of Concord.  As long as it doesn't place anything there, or overwrite the settlement (try placing it as low as you want in your load order if that happens) then it shouldn't cause a problem.

So how do I get it?

Download the AIO installer and choose your flavour.  If you use the ESL then remember to check it's activated.

Is that it?

Yep, enjoy.
