Hi there guys, I just want to thank you all for all of your kind comments!! I just wanted to let you know I'm tanking notes on the bugs/issues/recommendations you all are sending, but I'm currently out of gaming/modding for the moment since my graphic card died. As you all probably already know, graphic card's prices are going parabolic right now. That, plus the fact that I live in a 3rd world country with HIGH/CONFISCATORY taxation, means prices being 4-5-6x now compared with what they were a few months ago and 2-3x compared with the prices in probably 90% of other countries in the world. So, yeah, I'm on a rebellion against both, the graphic cards market and my countries taxation system right now xD.
As soon as I get a new card, for a fair price, I'll take a look at the bugs and issues.
Sense I dont know if its been asked. Does this mod work with the .357 that is provided in Munitions or is there a patch to possibly unite the two so I dont have to be carrying around a non functional version of the bullet and a functional version of the bullet.
I'm not actively modding right now, but there's a BCR patch in the downloads section. Although I can't say if it still works, to be honest. I haven't played FO4 for ages. I would suggest you check it out to see if it suits your needs
Yeah I've got the BCR patch, I mentioned Tactical Reload because when implemented properly it can help resolve that animation blending issue where the hands jump after finishing a cycled reload. I got the Winchester pack working by editing the ini for the plugins to use the blending animation for the Far Harbor Right Handed Lever Action tactical reload, but the edit sadly didn't work for this :< Understandable though. I love your work regardless as it fills a desperately empty void in terms of niche weapons on the nexus.
I'd make a patch myself but the guide to implement tactical reload blending was way over my head cause I'm a bit of a bimbo with that stuff.
The Mod is great. The rifle is extremely satisfying to use. My only complaint is I can't get my hands on it right at the start of a new play-through. Keep up the good work.
Unfortunately the El Mudo store seems to break the precombines for the Desperados + PRP overhual. Is it possible to release a version of the mod without it?
UPDATE: Was definitely NOT caused by this mod I was an idiot and didn't put PRP dead last like literally everyone says to.
I cant get the BCR patch to work. Ive got the main BCR installed and the patch but it still wont work. Ive tried a clean install but nothing seems to work?
Was using a different repeater rifle mod, then remembered my grandfather left me his Model 92 Winchester. In 2009, he wrote a note that it went to me "When I croak".
I now have a moral obligation to use this, as that rifle is currently sitting on a mount above my desk.
Your Grandfather knew what he's talking about. He understood that something made 130 years ago could kill just the same as something made today. No reason to change. Just keep using what gets the job done and ignore all the hoop-la-la.
Only key is to keep it maintained. In many ways these classics are like cars, keep them maintained and you really don't need to bleed money chasing the latest and greatest. A cars design first and foremost is to get you from point A to point B. All the rest is fluff you really don't need - but pay 10's of thousands in markups to purchase and bleed 10's of thousands once you drive it off the lot.
In Vortex, the three main Cowboy Repeater files are wrongly labeled as 'Cowbow Repeater' and several patches like from True Damage can't find it in turn.
The original mod is never wrongly labeled - it is what it is. The patch should be leveraging the original mod - which is Cowbow Repeater.... Semantics, but true.

After loading the bullets the gun floats out of the hands and then floats back.
Reloading with an empty magazine doesn't have this problem.
