Reflections are made using your LOD- This means that the reflection may not match your game if your LOD does not match what you have rendering. The engine also has a limitation where it can only reflect what your player character sees, ie look down the water turns blue, awkward branches in the way reflections in an outline of that branch disappear!
How do i make this work??? the game water just don't get that reflective
Edit: to install it just use: NAC + REAL HD WATER + CRYSTAL WATER MOD then ENABLE the Screen Space reflection in the game settings and use the render distance un more than low
Nice mod. Good job. I am wonderding though if flickering of the reflections in the water are avoidable somehow? I know it's not related to your mod, but i'm just curious if you have any suggestions there. I obviously utilize your INI changes as well.
Hm i dont have any flickering, can you take a quick video and maybe i can tell what it is (crazy massive flickering once in a while flickering etc), but afaik all flickering issues shouldve been removed with the latest enbsieries, it could also be tied to your fps cap / rendering issues.
It was a little buggy in my game, so I have to leave it off, but when I was still, it looked spectacular. Also, even without it, the ENB settings you shared really make a difference, so you helped me either way. Great job and thank you
...it uses your lod so it should reflect whichever lod you have loaded in.
It isnt a req its only recommended, idk how it looks with other textures but theyre just color #s nothing too special should look fine with everything.
If anything it should be consistent with whatever FPS you already get with your ENB settings, max maybe like 2-3 frames in certain situations. Since this isnt enabling any new features and just creating a clearer image of whats already present I cant imagine it impacting much. I may not be the best one to answer since the lowest my game dips to is 45/50 (at the top of Corvega - the most performance heavy spot in the game) with max settings + trees and every 4k mod I could find. That being said I drop 0 frames when looking at the water etc. If you do give it a shot id be interested in what your impact is!
This looks like it could be a terrific mod, except the sky reflections are glaringly bright. If the water could be darkened to be more natural, I'd sure consider this.
Thanks! These settings keep the water bright enough to see through like its transparent on a clear day, I think what you want is to disable sky reflections. I forget what the exact setting is but in your FO4 INI -> ( all the way at the bottom) [WATER] -> bEnableSkyReflections (owtte) =0
I dont think the water color will change much, you might want to alter the reflection color. In any case: Open the ESP in FO4edit > Water Color (Dark) - Id recommend 96 / 36 down the board, they were too dark when tried them out for my light settings but you might like them. Reflection color, you could have this down to 128 to make it a little more bearable. Personally Ive been over a lot of water and never -not- been blinded by it when the suns ahead, but I dont know you settings either / as per the description. Not sure what these settings will do.
Id recommend mods like ELFX and ENB Lights Overhaul.
Thanks for your meaningful review Stryker, be sure to post another comment when you finally consider it everyones dying to know. Since you probably didnt read the description: For people who play with brighter sun/sky mods or people with high adaptation settings there will be times where it gets blindingly bright (like real water!).

Just want to ask which option I should tweak if I want to make the water darker
