About this mod

Fixes the garbage VR performance in the Institute,Vault 111, and Corvega Plant by removing all the lights - a la Lights remover. But this ONLY effects those areas and NOT the entire game. So you can still get the aesthetic FO4 lighting in most of the game.. then when you have to go to the Institute you're FPS won't drop to the ground.

A note on reddit: I recommend using https://www.reddit.com/r/Fallout_VR/ for discussion of Fallout 4 VR modding in general. The main subreddit was taken over by a troll moderator named xMindweaverx who has banned many great fallout 4 vr mod creators

==================================

Institute,Vault 111, and Corvega Plant Run like hot garbage in VR even on high end hardware.  It's due to the terrible and unoptimized lighting engine. Todd... IT DOESN'T ALWAYS WORK.

This will fix your performance and skyrocket your FPS into the stratosphere in thoes locations.

It'll look a bit strange since it gets rid of all interior lights at thoes locations.. But theres still ambiant lighting so it won't be totally pitch black.

Actually I think it looks alot better in Vault 111.. I mean if you think about it.. 200 years later the lights probably wouldn't be blaring that bright.

The Institute looks a bit odd.. but not odd enough to give up the amazing framerate.

UPDATE:

There is now a new mod which can turn back on the lights (Just for the institute)  and keep good FPS for VR, GO and download Lucid Institute by KhaoMaat, There is a Patch included in that mod

Just install with your mod manager and make sure the it loads before the VR pipboy light if you use that mod.
