While walking around the Glowing Sea in Power Armor, I started getting annoyed that I couldn't use my Deathclaw Gauntlet to fight off enemies. First off, That sounds amazing, secondly, I was running low on ammo. Yah, there's gonna be some clipping issues, but this is a Bethesda game, the whole thing is one big clipping issue, and that's why we love it.

So a search on the Nexus got me nowhere. I couldn't find a mod that lets you use unarmed weapons in Power Armor. So, I made it myself. This mod edits the Power Fist, Deathclaw Gauntlet, Knuckles, Boxing Glove, and (optionally) the Far Harbor Meat Hook. I was hoping I could just edit Power Armor to allow unarmed weapons, so the mod would be compatible with just about everything, but alas, I couldn't figure anything out. This mod will inherently be incompatible with anything that edits one of those weapons, and won't have an effect on mods that add new unarmed weapons.

Some credit to WarMachineX0, whose WarFists PowerArmor equippable melee weapons (a mod that ADDS Unarmed Power Armor Weapons) showed me how to do this. Basically, I just changed the Animation Type ID from "HandToHandMelee" to "OneHandSword" (Doesn't effect the ACTUAL animations). If you have FO4Edit, this is tutorial-level editing, so it's not hard to make your own edits for other mods that either overwrite this one or aren't effected. There SHOULDN'T be any bugs, but this is a Bethesda game, and I did literally 5 seconds of testing, so who knows.

There are three versions, one that needs Far Harbor and Armor And Weapon Keywords Community Resource (it keeps the edits from AWKCR), one that just needs Far Harbor (The Meat Hook) and one that only requires the base game, for those of you who haven't bought Far Harbor. I'm not sure why you wouldn't (though it is my least favorite of the DLCs), but the option is there just in case.

Oh, I almost forgot, these are .ESPs flagged as .ESLs, so they won't take up a load order slot.

Credits to Bethesda for making my 2nd (FO4) and 3rd (Skyrim) favorite video games ever, WarMachineX0 for his mod, and you for being so darn good looking.
