The bloated face is an engine issue, who happens mostly because the preset uses hi-poly head mesh, who mess with the low-poly head mesh of the base characters. There is no need to clutter a load order with a esp file for a .json file.
I don't know if anyone else is experiencing the "bloated face" bug with this preset, but for some reason when I load a previous save and look at preston, his face (namely his chin and cheekbones) become exaggerated and his face "swells". It reverts to normal after I re-apply the preset, but it's a bit of a pain to have to do that every time I boot the game. Is anyone having this issue or know how to fix it?
Yes, it's a common issue with unique NPC's, I have it too. Reapplying the preset does indeed solve the issue, but indeed, it's a hassle, unfortunately, I don't know what causes this either.
I tried to change Preston via looksmenu aswell and ecountered two other different issues, plus bloated face. I've had him artifacting really bad or (maybe even worse?) totally disappearing. I managed to get him right two or three times, saved the game, reloaded to test if it was working and every time he disappeared again. Total bummer because this preset is amazing :(

For those experiences bloated face, the problem seems like it need esp files for it.
I follow a tutorial and make a esp files out of it and now it seems to be working fine.
Just copy the esp file and paste it into Fallout 4 Data folder.
There is no need to clutter a load order with a esp file for a .json file.
between, what outfit did you use for the screenshot? I been searching everywhere and couldn't find out in this sea of mod.
