Will this mod let us scrap the annoying truck trailer? I can scrap the truck, and the flatbed trailer, but not the big trailer. And will this mod clash with Scrap Everything?
Did you rebuild the Previs and Precombs after adding the normally unscrapable stuff? I like the idea of this mod but I have been avoiding any mods that break the Previs and Precombs because I plan to use multiple mods that are script heavy.
This mod looks good, and covers a number of things that anyone who does settlements a lot notices. I will hold off on DL until you've finished though, and found everything that gives far less than it should. But still a great idea. 10/10
And it's not just stuff that doesn't give you *enough* scrap. It's also objects that aren't normally scrappable, like the military APCs that dot the Commonwealth. The APCs aren't in the current version, though; those'll be added, once I think I've found everything.
What about things in some settlements that usually aren't scrappable and there's no apparent reason why? I'm mainly thinking the large containers in coastal cottage, and some of the trucks in greentop nursery, things like that. Were those planned to be added, or would it require some of the buggier scrap all mods?
I never considered it, because I use Scrap Everything.
But if people have trouble with SE, yeah, I can see about adding the shipping containers to BHES. There's a sh*tton of them, but I'll see what I can do
Honestly I find SE to be too buggy in too many of the wrong ways, so I've always avoided it. But if it's too much of a nuisance, then please don't put yourself out, I was just curious.
Any chance you could add cars? I don't mind if it's vanilla or your own scrap recipe, for some reason it's a little random if a car will have components or not in my game, I feel like putting the vanilla entries (or your own) lower in my load order it would fix what's going on?
Immersive Scapping, Scrap Everything (I've made extensive additions and removals of the plug-in I use...lol), and...not to toot my own horn but...Better Weapon Scrap.
My only issue with Scrap Everything, in regards to Vault 88, is that I always end up scrapping stuff that needs to stay.
And I don't mean the cave walls and floors that make "daylight" pour through if you scrap them. There's a lot of dirt and debris piles and railroad tracks that need to stay.
Some of the stuff I scrapped made the path to the water purifier hard to get to with Gopher's Vault 88. Believe it or not, I actually logged onto a younger character that hadn't scrapped too much, recorded all of the FormIDs and their respective coordinates, angles, etc. Got the base objects with XEdit. Then proceeded to spawn and position each and every one of the pieces of railroad tracks on the character on which I scrapped too much.
Now you can't even tell that I effed up.
What made it really pain-free is I put the base object IDs, positions, etc in a text document, complete with the console commands. So, all I had to do was copy the text, alt-tab to the game, open the console, paste the text and hit enter.
It was actually kinda fun...but I'm never working on Vault 88 again with Scrap Everything enabled. I've made extensive edits to the plug-in, but I don't trust myself not to go overboard.
No. I just had it made a requirement because it made it easier for me to search for the FormIDs in XEdit, since I would often forget to check the box for UOFO4P.

In my load order it goes:
Scrap Everything
Immersive Scrapping
Better Heavy Equipment Scrap
Better Weapon Scrap

I'll upload a new one without requirement.
Immersive Scrapping addresses all of the automobiles.
