    Hey yo,

    ?Last update May 2020.

Will there be any updates soon or is this mod now considered abandonware?

We were working on the 4th update for this version, but around 8 months ago, we decided to reboot the whole project and do it right.
The helm has since been handed over to HippieHolocaust, and the project is running smoothly. Here's a link to our Discord:

There is a virus  in this mod - no matter which saves are selected, the only thing that loads is a place where the game froze using this mod.

All my saves have been hosed thanks to this mod.

Is this safe to use with existing saves? The Commonwealth and DLC areas are getting a little boring for me but I don’t want to start all over again.

as a fellow Oregonian it feels nice seeing someone make something out of the area, hope it doesn't become a mess like the frontier.

Well, I've had a look around - and have some mixed feelings. Firstly dude - 180 UDRs and 71 ITMs in that download according to FO4edit.

Maybe folks from that part of the world can get a kick out of it, and perhaps it has intrinsic value to worldspace modders. But to anyone else I'd prob recommend staying away as it's not (yet) even a semi-enjoyable experience. In theory, travelling about an incomplete town of that scale could be an impressive gawp, but in practice it's a drag at best - and especially without map, navmesh, precombine, or LOD, it's literally headache inducing for me.

Like most mods of this type, this one bit off far more than it should chew - there's a reason why even orgs the size of Bethesda do towns 1/20th scale and not 1/2 scale. I'd love to see it finished, but not surprised it's been dying on the back-burner. Shame as there just aren't enough good worldspace mods for FO4 (and few enough bad ones, for that matter). Wish I could help but my mod skills & publishing days ended with games of 20yrs ago.
But best wishes with it going forward.

I'll take a look, dear Ropie. I just hope i don't find a million Pith helmets in there...

You don't understand how long I've wanted a mod that takes place in Oregon. Probably gonna end up making my hometown sometime eventually, maybe Klamath or something.

Well technically, Klamath in Fallout 2 is Klamath Falls Oregon. I think there's a project remaking Fallout 2, but I don't believe they're going to ever complete it and release.
Always love seeing people do some new location though!
