NOTE: If using versions 1.0 or 1.1, please update to 2.0 IMMEDIATELY. There was a CTD bug while taking damage in 3rd person in previous versions.
I wanted a more rugged Vault Suit along with more armor options. This is the result. Contents include 1 vault suit, 1 cowl, 4 limb armors, and 6 torso armors. Please read below:
I wanted a more rugged Vault Suit along with more armor options. This is the result. Contents include 1 vault suit, 1 cowl, 4 limb armors, and 6 torso armors. Please read below:
- Requires Nuka World DLC for several textures to work.
- Armor pieces, Vault Suit, and Cowl are craftable at a CHEM LAB workbench under WASTELAND RUGGED category.
- Created and tested on vanilla bodies.
- Armor pieces can be worn over other vanilla and mod armors that don't take up the same armor slots, but expect clipping.
- Armor is compatible with backpack and holster mods. Thigh holsters will look better than waist holsters.
- Cowl is compatible with vanilla and mod gas masks, bandannas, face wraps, etc., that don't take up the same head/hair slots. Expect minor clipping.
- This is a vanilla armor mesh mashup. Any texture mods that alter the vanilla armors will affect the look of this armor too.
- Crafted armor will have randomly assigned prefixes (Standard, Sturdy, Heavy) along with corresponding upgraded stats. Unknown how to fix without removing vanilla armor modification options as well.

v2.0 - fixed critical CTD bug when taking damage in 3rd person while wearing certain armors. Removed gloves from Rugged Vault Suit due to clipping and to make suit compatible with other glove mods. Removed bootknife from Rugged Vault Suit due to compatibility issues with the rebuilt bugged armor meshes. In the future, may try to include bootknife again as a separate armor piece. Added armor modifications for armor pieces (note, crafting armor randomly assigns Standard, Sturdy, or Heavy prefixes and stats. Unknown how to fix this while still using vanilla material modifications).
