I put the Horizon Z1 Experimentation Terminal on a holotape. Load it into any terminal at a settlement for full functionality in VR. Item name "Portable Experimentation System" ItemID: xx000F9A
you need to pop it in a terminal for full functionality, if you pop it in your pip boy parts of the menu are broken, and you cannot craft. but the reverse engineer function still works so you can reverse engineer a weapon in the field and then ditch it.
I wanted this a lot. and nobody was gonna do it for me. so I did it for you. if you want it.
if anyone ends up caring about this I'll make a cleaned up version where you can craft the holotape for the same cost as the work bench. for now. it works well enough for me.
obviously requires Horizon, this patch made for version 1.8 may or may not work on others.
