About this mod

He killed 3 men in a bar with a pencil! And a super mutant in an alley with a .44!

Requirements
Permissions and credits
John Wick, the Boogeyman!  John Wick, Baba yaga!  He once killed 3 men in a bar, with a pencil.  A...fuck...ing...pen...cil !
And now, after being inspired by the fantastic John Wick preset created by jmanumber1, who was more than generous to give me permission to bring the Boston Boogeyman to your Fallout 4 runtime as the shadow haunting your steps, always watchful to cover your back...the Mysterious Stranger.

I'm proud to bring you a mod preset for the Mysterious Stranger.  This mod alters the face, hair, and beard of the NPC, as well as changes his vanilla outfit to use the Black Suit files instead of the Vault Tech Guy outfit.  There is an optional .txt  batch file that you can download, which when ran through the console will give level 3 of the "Mysterious Stranger" perk, so that you can get some enjoyment of getting to see John Wick coming to finish off the enemy for you.

Again, huge shout out to jmanumber1, who released the preset that this character is based off of.  If you appreciate his work, please visit his mod page to give him a download and an endorsement to his mod.   https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/34498   and please visit his profile page to give him a kudos for sharing this with us   https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/users/3929345

Now on to the blah blah blah.
Please don't ask for a NMM or Vortex installer, I don't make them.

Manually download the file to someplace on your computer and extract the .7z file to someplace on your computer.  After that, you can drag and drop the .esp file into whatever mod manager that you prefer.
Make sure to set the mod as active and if your manager requires it, set it as deployed.
Or if you install it manually, copy the file, and paste it into your fallout 4/data folder and then use whatever method you use to update your plugins.txt file to set the mod as active in your load order.
NOTE:  Because of the hair and beard used in this mod, you MUST have the mod Lots of hair Barbers extension  located here.  https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/20526
Please leave an endorsement and kudos there for sharing that with us too!
AND my mod must be set in your load order AFTER the Lots of Hair Barbers extenion mod, in your load order.

NOTE 2:  This mod was created using game version .138 and will be compatible with all versions of the game prior to the November 18, 2019 game update.
IF you are running a game version later than that .162 +  and the mod does not seem to work, try using the f4se version checker patch before you start saying that it doesn't work. That is located here.   https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/42497
Please be sure to show some appreciation towards BigandFlabby as well, as his mod is an absolute game saver for those of us with older versions of the game!

If you are installing and using the batch file for the perks, download and install those as well.  After extracting the file, you will see a file called stranger.txt
That you install into the same folder as your fallout4.exe file is in, NOT in your data folder. To run the file, you then open the game and then when your character is loaded, you tap the Tilde key ~ which is in your upper most left corner of the keyboard.  Once the console is open you type in bat stranger and then hit your enter key.  Then the tilde key again.
You will see confirmation that the script has run. This gives you up to level 3 of the perk.  There is still one more level that you can attain which my script does NOT give you.  (I don't want to hear the complaints about OP so that's as far as I will give away.)
But my script does NOT do anything to increase how often the MS will engage to finish off your enemies.

Thanks for looking at my mod, and I hope that you enjoy!
