About this mod

This is an ESP replacer for Unique Uniques - Unique Weapons Redone. All weapons have their original legendary enchantments, but retain the wonderful visuals from the original mod.

This is an ESP replacer - this means you will NEED the files from the original page by trainwiz : https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15139

It will only work properly on new games, this is unfortunate, but the vanilla scripts which add these weapons to the world, vendors, etc, do so right at the beginning of the game - literally when you are creating your character. After that point, the scripts will be done, and these changes will not be made. 

However there is a cheat chest which adds all unique weapons touched by this mod, as well as some loose attachments which you can equip on your weapons if they do not have the new unique attachments, so you can use this on existing saves if you don't mind cheating. I used this for testing, but thought it might be helpful - they might be slightly different to what you would find normally, because the attachments are randomised, but they will still have the legendary effect and the unique attachment. To get there type 'coc qasmoke' into console 

Since i have changed quite a lot (i actually started from scratch), if you find bugs while using this version please tell me on here and not on the original page.  

Main differences to original:

  • Legendary effects restored - the custom ones have been completely removed 
  • The legendary effects are also separate to the unique attachment - which means if you use a mod to modify legendaries (e.g. crafting framework) you can swap the legendary effects whilst retaining the unique appearance. The unique attachments do make the weapon unscrappable though, so you wont accidentally scrap them. 
  • Zao's Sword and Reba have no legendary effects like in vanilla. I added it so Zao will give you the sword and Barney will carry Reba, which i think is different to the original mod which just had loose mods in their cells? 
  • The loose mods spawned in the world have not been added in this esp. Instead you can use the cheat safe to get a new version of uniques if you want them or you can get the loose mods from there too.  Cheat responsibly!  
  • I have changed the names of most the attachments from the original mod. This is simply because a lot of the names were related to the new legendary effect. In most cases the attachments will just have the same name as the unique weapon. 

Installation

Download Unique Uniques - Unique Weapons Redone . (you only actually need the meshes, materials and textures folders)

Download this mod. Let my mod overwrite everything, or if you use MO2 make sure my mod is below the original mod in the left pane.

Compatability

See original page. I edited 2 extra scripts, relating to the Yangtze quest and Barney Rook's quest. 

Let me know about conflicts and i can try my best to look into it
