About this mod

Fixes animation inconsistencies with landing from medium-to-long falls in 1st person vs. 3rd person, where in 3rd person your character will often get locked into a 2-4 second animation, while in 1st person you don't. Also fixes how power armor impact landings can be done at a shorter height in 3rd person than in 1st person.

This inconsistency has been bothering me for a long time now, and I've finally worked out a way to fix it.

If you've ever played in 3rd person for an extended amount of time, you've probably run into the problem a lot where when you take a hard landing, your character will either stumble forward (if you were moving forward at the time of landing), or take 4 whole seconds to stand up (if you weren't moving at the time of landing), disallowing any sort of input, and leaving you wide-open to attack.

This mod exchanges those animations for the normal landing animation, which can be freely interrupted, giving you the same behavior of movement in 3rd person as in 1st person.

Additionally, this mod fixes another inconsistency regarding power armor impact landings, where the player does not need to be falling as fast in 3rd person as they do in 1st person to execute an impact landing. The speed requirement of 1st person has been favored in order to make the impact landing slightly less easy to execute, making it unlikely you'll perform one while roaming around and jumping off a couple of boxes or a medium-sized hill.
