No Bare Hands Blocking totally remade and works flawlessly, read main page for more info. No Melee Blocking now prevent the use of armor/weapon mod based on blocking
There's 2 mod here :
-No Bare Hands Blocking : prevent the player and the npc to block with their bare hand and only their bare hands. Unarmed weapon and power armor fist still work (for balance reason ofc, I don't play for realism). This version is the least compatible because to achieve this goal all vanilla melee and unarmed weapon had to be added to a formID list, so if you want to use that with mod added melee weapon a patch is needed (or you won't be able to block with these weapons). But it's easy to do, just open both mod and copy the ID of the mod added weapon in the formID list (can't miss it there's only one) added by my mod. It also edit 6 idle animation but that should not cause any compatibility issu with any other mod (never saw another mod affecting blocking event so I don't think there's any incompatible mod out there). This version also allows better customization, if there's a weapon you think that shouldn't be able to block (like knucles or switchblade) simply open the mod in fo4edit, and remove it from the formID list (just know that to make it possible to block with power armor fist, power armor will still allow blocking with these weapons, if you want to change that also remove all power armor entry from the formID list but it will prevent you to block with PA fist, no other solution sorry).
-No Melee Blocking : entirely disable the blocking system, plain and simple. It has almost no compatibility issu, it only edits the same 6 idle animation as the other version. The new update also prevent the crafting of braced arm mods, and make it so all legendary modification based on blocking are now a new one : -legendary armor cavalier is now sprinter -legendary weapon cavalier is now powerful -charged is now wounding -blazing is now incendiary -dueslist is now crippling -frigid is now freezing This is done by giving the legendary modification the exact same effect as the one they're replaced by. No legendary quest or leveled list edited to prevent conflict with mods that overhaul the legendary system. (Only small drawback is that now now you'll find twice more of these legendary effect on melee weapon compared to vanilla, but I don't think it should be really noticeable given the amount of already existing legendary effect in vanilla game). Load this before any other mod affecting legendaries.
The No Bare Hands Blocking has been a nightmare to get working, previously I achieve my goal by giving bare hand their own animation path who contained no block animation, so ennemy would still try to block but nothing was happenning. While it worked it totally fucked up their ai when disarmed (they were running at me then stop in front of me and do nothing and became human punching bag). Now when you disarm ennemies, they won't block your blade or hammer with their forearm but they'll try to punch you to defend themselves.
