About this mod

Food only regenerates your health if it's prepared at a cooking station. This also extends to ingredients, such as flowers and fungus, which don't regenerate health on their own and must be cooked into food or chems.

I never really liked mods that disable food health entirely, as in Survival, their only purpose is either satiating hunger or gaining bonuses. I still wanted to keep them as an alternative to Stimpaks, but I wanted to make it more important to cook them.

In this mod, unprepared food such as Tatos, Corn, Razorgrain, Brain Fungus, Glowing Fungus, Blood Packs, raw meat, and many others no longer give you health. However, when cooked into something available at a cooking station or chem station, they heal you and provide any applicable bonuses.

You can still eat the unprepared stuff, however all they'll do is give you rads. If you're playing on survival, they still satiate your hunger, but not give you health, and still give you rads. If you are hungry in survival, no food will give you health until your hunger is satiated, like normal.

Drinks like Nuka Cola will still heal you, as it and all its variants use the same keyword, and there's nothing else you can use them to make besides other variants anyway. Pre-war food (such as Instamash and Salisbury Steak) will also still heal you, which I think gives them a special appeal as food you don't have to cook to get health from.

To that end, dirty water no longer heals you. It must be purified or cooked with prepared food to give health. It will still irradiate you and satiate your thirst in survival, however.

This mod works by checking an item for specific keywords. such as HC_IgnoreAsFood (includes ingredients like Brain Fungus), FruitOrVegetable (includes crops like Tatos and Razorgrain), HC_DiseaseRisk_FoodStandard, and HC_DiseaseRisk_FoodHigh (which includes raw meats), among a couple others. This means, as long as it has the proper keywords, modded foods should also work. No (as far as I know) prepared foods have any of these keywords, all they have is ObjectTypeFood, which isn't checked for since it's used in every food item.

Changelog:

-1.1: Fixed the mod telling you it was activated thanks to some help from jb2k1.
-1.2: Fixed Jet & Psycho Jet's slow-motion effect being reduced to 0 seconds by the perk.
-1.3: Added precautions to make sure some bonus-food effects bypass the keyword check.
Bugs:
-Yao Guai Roast says "+0% melee damage for 1 hour", however the effect is still actually applied.
