If you chose the "Radio Object Swap" option when installing the mod, you will have a file named "WRAR3_SWAP.ini" in your data folder. You can open that in MO2 or any text editor and you will see these lines:
;RadioDiamondCityReceiver
RadioDiamondCityReceiver|WRARReceiverOn|NONE|chanceR(25)
;RadioDiamondCityReceiverOff
RadioDiamondCityReceiverOff|WRARReceiverOff|NONE|chanceR(25)
All you have to do is change the "25"s to whatever percentage you prefer. For example, if you'd like it to be 75 percent, you would change it like this:
RadioDiamondCityReceiver|WRARReceiverOn|NONE|chanceR(75)
RadioDiamondCityReceiverOff|WRARReceiverOff|NONE|chanceR(75)
This would result in any instance of the Diamond City Radio object... -

Beginning with version 3.0, WRAR has exposed a few console commands that are accessible to all players (or at least those that can access to console). If you are not familiar with the in-game console, players can reach it by hitting the "~" key, which will pop up an old-school terminal window. WRAR commands are accessed using the "cqf" (call quest function) command, followed by the quest id, the quest function, and any required parameters. Commands that WRAR has added include:
* cqf WRARQuestRadio cheatXRC
- This is the cheat code to add the "Xperimental Remote Control" to the player inventory without needing to do the "Old World Swing" quest.
* cqf WRARQuestRadio skipTracks #
- This command will "skip" the station ahead "#" tracks to play whatever trac... -
The quest isn't that long, and most of the clues you need should be accessible by viewing the quest summary in the quest log. If you get stuck, try these hints:
Q: How do I start the quest?
A: Listen to the radio station. Well, first you install the quest (it's separate). Then, you listen to the radio station. On your Pip-Boy.
Q: Where is the Station?A1: Look for a radio tower near Roxbury. South of Downtown Boston, North of Milton.
A2: Across the street from Fairline Hill Estates, up a hill near the relay tower. Look for a collapsed house.
Q: What am I looking for at the station?
A1. Search the ruins for a clue to how you access the part that is still working.
A2. Loot the upturned desk right in the middle of the ruins. Th...
