Changelogs

Have you ever wondered how much of your burdens your companions are carrying?  Tired of thinking you can add another minigun or fatman to Piper so you can keep frolicking about Boston without any worries of becoming over encumbered, only to find out she's already loaded to the gills in Super Sledges?  Thought Cait had an extra 6 pounds of carry weight, but you found out her invisible companion items put her at the max?

Then look no further!  This little mod will add an icon to your companion's inventory trade screen to show you exactly how much they have stored!

F4SE is a requirement for this to work.

It's also compatible with DEF_Inv with no patching required.

The normal install of this mod is in ESL format, but an optional ESP install has been included for anyone that would prefer it.

So, get out there and give Strong all of your gattling plasmas, and know how many more desk fans you can scoop up before he becomes over encumbered!

INSTALLATION

A FOMOD installer has been included to make things stupid simple if you have a mod manager.  The regular install will use the ESL version, and there's an optional install that will install an ESP version instead.  If you feel like manually installing, just drag and drop the contents of the \Data from the download to your install's \Data folder.

COMPATIBILITY

This mod is compatible with custom companions and mods that change the vanilla Follower system so long as they do not alter the way the Reference Alias Collection for companions.  This mod keys off the alias collection to know when to inject the icon.  This mod has been tested with a multitude of custom companions and Expired's Unlimited Companion Framework.

DEF_Inv from DEF_UI is also compatible with this mod.  Since Companion Inventory Weight makes no hard edits to the vanilla Container Menu file, it will be compatible with any UI mod that edits the Container Menu so long as they do not delete or rename any of the vanilla UI elements.

Companion Inventory Weight is not currently compatible with Quick Trade or Quick Trade Redux.  Quick Trade bypasses the companion command mode and activation events CIW keys off of to know who the player is talking to.

UNINSTALL

Uninstalling is straight forward.  Remove the files or delete from your mod manager.
