This is a simple mod made to fill a simple need: BoS Roleplay.

Did you ever see danse do that cool helmet flips and think "Wow, I wish I could do that!"...
Ever see your brothers and sisters in arms giving each other BoS Salutes and think "The loyalist inside me want's to salute until my chest is black and bruised"?

Well now you can!

So, How does it work?

First off, Go to your nearest BoS Approved Chemical Workshop (Chem workbench for you traitors out there) and make yourself the "Immersive Power Armor" Chem. Then hotkey it to whatever you like and use it.

Using smart patented intelliscan technology (read: A few If's and Else's) the chem will perform different actions based on context.




Out of Power Armor: Standard BoS Salute (Fist to chest)

In Power Armor with T60 Helmet Equipped: BoS Power Armor Salute

In Power Armor with no helmet equipped but T60 Helmet in Inventory: Toss and place helmet

In Power Armor with no T60 Helmet in inventory: BoS Power Armor Salute



Update:
With version 1.5.0 there is now a chem that can be used to call in a vertibird transport. An animation is played showing the player sending a request through the pip boy. Activating the Chem in power armor has no animation but does still play a sound to represent a request being sent! Chem Crafted at Chemistry Workbenches


Note:
To be clear, the Powerarmor salute will work in ANY Powerarmor, either vanilla or modded! It is only the helmet flip that is restricted to T-60 due to the animation used! I am currently in the process of removing this limitation!
