Hi all - I have installed and working Videos of the Wasteland (VotW). I didn't see these tapes available in the VotW workbench or see them in my inventory. I'm not sure if I'm missing anything? Thanks!
It would be so much easier for users if you could just package the entire files together for the esl versions. All you would be doing is just keeping the same folder structures...But then remove the "esp" then place the esls. I say this because sometimes mod managers such as mod organizer has complications with trying to overwrite files that make this tedious, at least for me.
In fact, I went ahead and simply did it myself, and packaged it all together, I'll pm it it to you in case you wanted anything with it here.
For anyone curious, over Easter I'm going to be going through my VotW stuff, tidying stuff up, fixing anything that might be wrong (I still expect bug reports), and generally giving them some love.
I can't wait for more packs to be added, there aren't enough VotW tapes out there. Especially old advertisements. You're providing a vital service to us VotW users!
I couldn't agree with you more kat1004. I've been waiting for some more VotW tapes and these old commercials are totally sick. I love these! Thanks so much iqoniq! Will come back to endorse as soon as the Nexus lets me.
Vanilla TVs don't do much of anything. They display a test pattern if you power them. VotW adds it's own functional TVs to the workshop menu that will display the holotape contents when in close proximity to the player.
well, that 'test pattern' is something i would like displayed on one of the robot armors in my WIP mod, for starters. bethesda has already done it, i think.. was it on the nukatron torso?
I don't know, but it would be a good additional "face" for Automatron Securitron. The things use a monitor to project a face, a test pattern only makes sense!
