TSR edits the vanilla SMG, so what you're describing would mean that you've got another mod installed that's conflicting very thoroughly... or that you haven't actually installed TSR.
Your download history is showing that you haven't downloaded the main mod; only the optional idle animation replacer.
Have you considered adding new attachments? It could really enhance the gameplay experience. For instance, maybe modifications to turn it into an Annihilator or a Persuader could be added? Or perhaps an option to remove the sight for like the experimental version had? It would also be incredible to see a long barrel attachment that the 1927A1 had or even the Lyman Adjustable ladder sight. These additions could offer more customization options.
Damn, i could kill for a left-handed version. i mean all the weapons are left handed, its quite gamebreaking for me having 1 single right handed weapon. :(
The vanilla left-handed versions of weapons that are right-handed in the real world drove me up the wall, so one of the features of WARS was changing all those weapons to be right-handed.
So if it's just that it's only one weapon being right-handed that's bugging you, maybe you'd want to go completely the other direction and try out WARS...
Yeah, you are right But since I use lots of other lore-friendly weaons which are left-handed - as the vanilla ones - I couldn't switch some weapons to right handed yet the other ones are left handed. the wars is great however ive also had a magazine system in mind, its kinda giving me Project Zomboid vibes.
just wondering, and this might sound odd, but does this mod play well with the M1928A1 Thompson mod by noniac?
I was thinking of adding more yours and his into my came because i thought it be neat to have both military and the civilian variants in my gun used by raiders and trigger men.
No, it doesn't. And furthermore, it completely breaks vanilla submachine gun weapon mods too. Only a few mods will work and the rest result in missing parts on the gun.
Not sure whether you're talking about TSR or noniac's M1928A1 Thompson there - or both. Also there's the usual ambiguity with "mods for the game" vs "mods (as in attachments) for weapons in the game". In other words I'm not sure what you're saying.
In any case, multiple mods editing the same vanilla weapon are going to conflict, of course.
For me spesificly i was talking about the M1928A1 Thompson - Day of Infamy by noniac. as far as i could tell, his page mod makes no mention on if it's a replacer or not, and i sent a post asking him if it was or not, but never heard back from them yet.
If cahal89 is saying it is a replacer and not a add-on, then never mind my question then. I just thought it be cool to have 2 different tommy guns.
I also have this issue but I am unsure of what mod is conflicting with it since I have alot of mods lol. If anyone else has this issue and finds out which mod is causing the mag to conflict with TSR please let me know!
TSR edits the existing Silver SMG, though if you've already gained the weapon in your save, it probably won't reflect the changes the mod makes to the attachments it spawns with.
That's how the default SMG is set up to spawn, which TSR doesn't change as it's intended mainly to be a visual replacer, not something that changes mechanics much. It's just that it does change - well, this, from the description:
Also, the very odd "Short Stock" was changed to simply "No Stock" - far more likely than someone sawing a full buttstock in half and then going to the trouble of fashioning an all-new buttplate to fit the now smaller butt end of the stock.
This can of course be changed using the CK/FO4Edit, yes.

See the pic
- Editing the SMG.
- Editing existing Object Mods for the SMG.
- Adding new Object Mods for the SMG. (My guess is that it's this one, in this case.)
You can look through your installed plugins in FO4Edit to check for this.
