Howdy. Here are few glass objects that you probably missed: -Black-rim glasses, they have invisible glass in barter menu -Sunglasses, they have normal glass instead of darkened one in barter menu -Vacuum Tube, still has ugly vanilla glass in barter menu
This mod is great! Unfortunately one of the chemistry flasks seems to have been left out (Meshes\Props\Lab\Beaker2, just called "Flask" in-game). But no biggie, it's not like it's a super common item that I'm always seeing in trade menus.
Ok I been going back and forth looking at the pics, looking at screen shots in my own game. What is the difference between realistic and realistic falloff? The falloff is slightly darker then the one without it. I googled falloff and it said a decrease in quality, so.... is that what is going on here?
Yeah, the broken windows on those trailers right outside vault 111 or the office water jug that sits in the corner of the first Red Rocket both have transparency and are vanilla.
The stuff you already have in the mod looks great though, so thanks for this. Too bad shining a light at the glass objects doesn't create a specular reflection.
I think novastark means the water coolers. Yes, they have transparent glass and are Vanilla items. They need to be fixed. A good example of one is at the Red Rocket settlement inside the building near the two tables and the refrigerator.
Another object located at Red Rocket are the glass domes that cover the payphones in the back near the NukaCola and milk vending machines.
Hello. This mod fixes the invisible objects in the workshop menu, and not all world items. In addition, water coolers already have transparency, they are muddy and dirty. Look at them at night with the pip boy light on and you will see everything.
Ok, I understand what you are saying, and thank you for you reply.
My question then is, because I think you might know how, is it possible to make the water coolers to not appear to glow at night? I have viewed the water cooler with the pip boy light on, and when I do they appear as I think they should (and as you mentioned), but when I view them without a light on them they appear to emit a glow, as if they are reflecting a light that doesn't exist. Do you know how this could be corrected?
If you find a model of this object in .nif format and open it in NifSkope you may see BSTriShape of this object. Inside of this block you may see BSEffectShaderProperty and than in the bottom section of programm you may see "Emissive color", which contain opacity parameter which marked with a letter A. This parameter should be no more than 0.5. "Emissive multiple" should be no more than 0.5 too. Also there is "Env Map Texure" parameter which is responsible for the reflection of objects. And there is parameter "Name" which may contain a link to the material, it can be removed for testing. Perhaps this will help you.
ok, thank you. This might be beyond my abilities at the moment as I haven't used NifSkope and can barely work my way through FO4Edit, but I appreciate the information.
Request: Compability patch for Neo Classic Nuka Cola
Hey, I like your fix very much. Could you please consider doing a compability patch for Neo Classic Nuka Cola? https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/27633 Because your fix replaces the empty Nuka Cola Bottle of that mod back to the vanilla design.
Thx for your reply and your hint. I already tried that and it technically works well, but some glitches on the bottle-label's texture appear, if doing so. Still thanks for your advice and your nice mod.

ALSO WHY ARE WE YELLING
In photography, it darkens the corners. Also called "vignetting".
Don't know where you got "decrease in quality" from! LOL xD
Sorry about that.
