    Hi there!

I want to say thank you for all the nice comments from you, your endorsements and all the Kudos given to me. You guys rock!

To give something back, I clicked on every profile that has given this mod an endorsement and gave each user a Kudos (I hope I didn't forgot someone!). There are a lot users out there which go the extra mile to come back and endorse a mod (some of them had given over 3,000 endorsements!) but not a single person on the Nexus gave these nice people a Kudos. So if you're one of them and wonder why the counter suddenly says 1 instead of 0, that was me.

I made a quick patch for Scrap Everything, if anyone wants it. Load after both mods.

I hope folk don't mind me asking here, but what I'd really like is an FO4 version of Stewie's Unvisited Cell Indicator. Or is it already in another mod? Imho it's one of the most useful FO3/FNV mods on Nexus for senile gits like me in these open world games. And on my subsequent playthrus, I find it even more useful as I can neither remember if I entered somewhere before or if it was on some previous playthru, etc.

Cool idea for a mod. The thing is, as soon as a script or a script extender plugin is needed I'm out. That's way beyond my skill level.
Since I'm getting old (40 or so but I feel like I'm 38!), mods like these would be interesting for me too.

Yes 40 is a bit old, but if it makes you feel any better I'm nearly 60 and can't remember being 40 - and my mod making skills are solidly in games of 1995-2005, so to me you're a young wizzard of the new black arts! Thanks for quick reply, and for your mods.

I really hope when I'm in my 60s that I'm still healthy and still play/mod games like Fallout. Streetyson, believe it or not but you're now a paragon to me.

A paragon? I wish! - no, no, think of me as your polygon - for I'm really just a square, but a very pretentious one!

How? Well, first signs of old age can start in your later 20s (eg, greying and/or balding hair), but skin changes get underway in your 30s, such that by about 40 you'll develop wrinkles & drying, loss of subcutaneous fat around the face, and metabolic changes (and for example the way the body copes with and distributes fat). Also by 40 you'll start the process of sarcopenia (muscle wastage, losing mass and strength). Sarcopenia can be slowed (but not stopped) by regular exercise. The organs are ageing too, eg the liver's ability to process alcohol etc, and changes in eyesight begins around 40 such that ability to focus close-up becomes evident by your early-mid 40s. The brain starts shrinking at 40 too, losing about 5% mass each decade thereafter. By 50 you (and everyone around you) will be painfully aware of these processes but they will have all actually started many years earlier. Hence 40 is indeed "a bit old" - I could probably drone on but at my age I also get very tired...

Hi streetyson, thank you for another nice comment!

Growing old has always scared me a bit. Fortunately, I don't smoke, don't take drugs and don't drink alcohol (not a single drop in 16 years). I hope that this means I will still be really fit as I get older, both physically and mentally.

My retirement plan is to invest 50% of my income in an ETF so that I can retire at 60. If I had started saving early, I might have been able to stop working at the age of 50 or 55. Normally this only works at 67 here in Germany. This buys me some time, time that I can waste with Fallout, Stardew Valley and especially Factorio all day.

I hope you're still around here then so we can try the newest mods together.

Hmm, interesting...then I must've won the genetic lottery because I'm close to 30 but still look 10 years younger (sometimes I feel like I'm mentally too, but that's another question), and being short doesn't help either haha

Even my parents, who are in their early 50s now, look much younger than they are and none of them "suffer" from the things you listed (except for a few wrinkles here and there). I think being healthy and not smoking/drinking also helps a lot in their case. Also, where I live I know several older people who are in their 70s and still working, but at first glance you wouldn't believe that some of them are older than 50.

So that's why I asked why you think 40 is old because based on my experience and from my perspective, 40 is not old...AT ALL :)

Well, how old something looks can be very deceiving. But forgive me for my comment about being "a bit old" was just an off-hand thing meant in relative terms and in a fun-dig with Ablaze, and not originally meant in absolute terms nor originally for debate.

So I have Clarity - True Storms installed which replaces the "TrueStormsFO4-NukaWorld-FH-Compat.esp" but See region names depend on it being present. A patch is needed right? or is there something I can do on my end

If you have some basic FO4Edit skills, it would be just drag and drop from one field into another. If not, you can play the game just fine, only a couple of locations would revert back to have no region names but the rest will work as intended.

Yeah, at the moment I'm just playing without region names, I might try it next time I have to open fo4 edit

Hello, great mod but why can't I make this mod to work? There's no conflicts, I have all DLCs needed, added patch for True Storms but still can't get it to work, tried quicksaving and manual saving but still vanilla save. Will appreciate any assistance.

Edit: Got it work, sorry for the post. Thanks for the mod!

How can I make this mod compatible with "Desperados Overhaul"?

Use FO4Edit. In the CELL field, copy the added regions of this mod into the conflicting cells from Desperados.

Location? Who wants to know where they are and what their saves relate to? Silly. How about something more game & faction specific:

Change - Commonwealth - to - Congratulations, You Just Found A Rare Working Exterior Doorway In The Commonwealth!
Change - Commonwealth - to - The Totally Fascist BoS State You Helped All Because You Just Like Wearing Power Armour.
Change - Commonwealth - to - The Evil Institute Nightmare You're Directing Because Your Science Lacks Any Conscience At All.
Change - Commonwealth - to - The Fluffy Minutemen Fantasy Bethesda Let You Create As You're Just A Kid And Like Disney Films.
Change - Commonwealth - to - The Useless Railroad Wokery You Wanted As You've Never Thought Practically About The Future.
Change - Commonwealth - to - The Enslaved Cannibal Dump You're The Raider Boss Of Because, Let's Face It, You're A Total Sh*t.

Oh well. But I have to admit the mod as it currently stands is such a massive improvement over vanilla that I'll still grudgingly endorse it...

if you are a Buillder/Settlement maker.. then you probably have already made yourself a Directory for keeping your Screencapturres files.. most graphics viewing programs allow you too scroll through thumbnails of your screenshots SORTED BY DATE... so barring none.. most File Management programs ALSO allow you to sort  the files in a directory by DATE... although it is a bit laborious to setup your viewers/sorters like this... you SURE get a memory refresh what you were doing by comparing screen captures and then matching the FILE DATES of the save files.. not the game times in the files... the actualy File DATES of the save files

your comments gave me another idea.. 'Text To Speech' technology is like what .. 20 years ancient now???
THAT would be neato stuff to make into a mod a way to manually type NEW DIALOGUES into a box and have NPC's speak your 'manuscripts' with eloquent 'Text To Speech' technology...

Hey thanks for the input which I'm sure some will find useful. But I hope everyone realises my "criticism" was in jest, and I was just trying to suggest funny alternatives. Oh, and I wasn't really referring to the save-names but what you see when you activate an exterior door as in current preview pic 11. Sorry if my comment/meaning wasn't clear.

I don't build beyond the bare minimum to advance the game. And I rarely make screenshots (unless I'm reporting an issue) and only ever load anything other than the latest save if I'm trying to uncrap my game from some mod conflict or mod I just didn't like.

EDIT: oh, but I have uploaded an image with explainer of how Nora is officially based on actress Diana Rigg from her Avengers days.

Not sure if it's already answered, but is this mod compatible with NAC X? Because if there are patches for other weather mods, then why is NAC X not included on the list? Has anyone experienced issues when using this with NAC X? Just asking so that I could finish my months-old game setup with mods that actually work and don't ruin my game

then why is NAC X not included on the list?
      Because I don't use it.
If no patch is available, load the weather mod after my mod in your load order. Your game won't break. If there's a conflict you simply won't see a region name on your save file on very very few regions but everything else will work like it should.

On behalf of someone I know who's dumb enough to ask what may be obvious to all you illuminati: If using Beantown Interiors but (like a true luddite) not it's optimization patch, is it a correct reading your fomod not to apply your Beantown patch, as it's only to patch Beantown's optimization file?

And what if my pal were to use Beantown Interiors but with a different illuminati optimization, such as, I dunno, maybe haplessaccreditation's one?

My patch only supports the optimization patch of Beantown Interiors. It would lead to visual glitches when using it without that optimization patch. Your linked example won't work either for the same reason. A new patch would be necessary in each case, that's a limitation of how Fallout 4's build in performance optimization works under the hood (or bonnet for the Brits ).

Ah! Thanks for quickly confirming this for me - er, my simple friend - and for translating into the Queen's English. I also note you didn't actually deny both of you being illuminati - 'tis as I suspected - but don't worry, your secret is perfectly safe with me...
