Such a shame that this mod alongside your other mods covering the t51 and t60 prevents them from being painted. Your power armor mods look amazing, but for some reason I cant get them to show up in my game. At first I thought it was MO2 messing me up, but even just dumping the files directly in my FO4 /data directory doesn't seem to work. Any ideas what might be going wrong?
Edit: Nevermind, I got it to work. Forgot to edit my ini file. Thank for this absolutely gorgeous addon!
I saw a lot of people reporting bug about paint jobs don't work with dpillari's PA retexture mods. I decided to check all the paint jobs on dpillari's PA retexs (4k version): Hot flames, shark, abraxo, winterized, sugar bombs,... and They still works. Huh, weird. So It could be a bug that from other mods but definitely not dpillari's retextures.
If anyone want paint job retextures, I would recommend Power Armor Redone by Nukanist. Including all PAs from DLCs.
Great Mod ! I love all your textures ! but I have a question when I installed your PA mods when choosing a material skin for the PA such as winterized , nothing changes, only your textures appear is this a bug?
this re texture is for the default t45. it dosnt do anything to the other paints. the material file is just for the default variety, the other paints have their own material files.
Could confirm this bug, when I change the paint to winter or anything else the texture would still be stuck on your default texture, so we can't paint the PA.
Can confirm, using this causes power armor paint schemes and similar (like different textures from upgrading A-F) to stop working, don't know why. If I remove the materials folder then the armor is paint able again although the armor looks much worse.
Very late to this party, but I believe this issue comes down to removing the Grayscale to Palette flag and texture from the related path from the materials. It was It was causing consistent purple textures with CPAO and PAMAP. Replacing the flag fixed the issue and allowed modifying (though, this texture is obviously not meant for color overlays). No idea why it happens with material swaps. Maybe because the mesh also has the Grayscale to Palette flag or because something lingers from the original material when swapping?

If you're not using MO2, they can be found in your files at My Documents > Games > Fallout 4
