Drinking a bevrage now gives you the bottle back and booze remove small ammounts of Rads!

Permissions and credits
I allways thought it strange that the Sole Survivor would distroy his bottles when finishing his bevrage so I made this mod, I also felt that people playing the game with super hardcore mods had no effictive way to get rid of rads at low levels so I made this mod.


What this mod does:

  • Uses a modified vertion of the "Gives you a bottlecap when you drink a cola" script to give you a bottle back when you drink from a bottle of alcohol, water, or cola. It also gives you a cork for wine and an aluminium can for beans and dog food (for water you get a generic brown bottle)
  • Adds a new purified water recipe so you can convert 1 dirty water to 1 purifed water
  • Adds a new recipe so you can create a new super food by pouring some drugs into a can of dogfood.


What his mod does not do:
  • This mod changes no leveld lists, perks, NPCs, world objects, or textures


Effictively this lets low level players play the game without pulling their out, got 700 rads? get blackout drunk and then use the bottles to quench your dehydration, It just works!

If you are useing any mods that edit any of the bottled drinks you will need a merged patch.
This mod works by applying a custom magic effect to the drink so when you drink it you get the bottle back. It is not a complex scrip and will likely never break just like the vanilla script its based on never breaks. It also adds a small rad-restoration effict to the alcohols, it's the food based one so it's not efficted by perks and heals over time.






Possable bugs and what to look out for: I had a hard time figureing out the variables for the efficts of alcohol and rad removal and the tediusness of the mod may have caused me to have overlook things

What to lookout for:
"This booze gives me 1200 stength+"
This means I use a 4 (or something) for stength; Back in the fallout 3/new vegas days the numbers were simpler, putting a 4 here ment you got 4 strength, now to get 4 strength you use like, "1.6" or something.  If you get too much of a bonus I accadently put too big of a number and forgot to fix it.
THE FIX: Go to FO4Edit and chance the value to 1.000

"This booze removes, all of my rads instantly"
I used the wrong magic effect
THE FIX: Go in the geck and swap the chem vertion to the food vertion

"I drank X and it gave me a beer bottle"
This means I linked the wrong magic effict.
THE FIX: open the GECK and swap the scripts out

"The recipies you listed I cant find at the campfire"
THE FIX: Lol I don't know this is my first mod on this vertion of the engine.



If the community shows intrest I will enable support for the DLCs and fix all bugs found assumeing you guys point out the issues in a coherent mannor.
