When I try to equip a mod from the mod tab, it says I need to be at a workstation. When I get to a workstation, I'm forced to craft a mod for a weapon of the same kind (ex. pipe pistol) even if I've removed a mod I want from another pipe pistol.

did you figure it out? I installed the detachable version and don't udnerstand how I detach them and put them on other items. when I craft another one while its already legendary, the existing one just disappears
edit: nvm. It takes another mod that allows attaching legendaries to all kinds of items
Same here, i can see the legendaries to craft, i can remove a legendary mod, i can see the legendary mod in inventory, but to craft only appear the recipe to create a new one
