Worked flawlessly for me. I activated it at the bottom of the load order, loaded a save from before I entered the vault the first time and this time the door opened just like it's supposed to!

Got down the elevator and could open the gate but the vault door was still closed. I exited the game and added the mod. Then reloaded before I went down from the surface. The vault door was still closed but nora's body was floating in the air with the log so I could complete the quest. That said, I'd like to have the door open so I can go inside and hang out. Sit at a table and eat a rad roach sandwich.
I use Start Me Up regularly, and always have the Vault-111-door-is-closed bug. I usually use TCL to get through it, but I saw this mod and decided to give it a shot.
Well ... the Vault Door remained closed, as with the bug, BUT ... Nora was laying in the entry way on the outside of the Vault Door. She had the Pod C6 holotape on her, thus negating any need to go deeper into the vault. I guess that IS a work around of sorts. lol
Anyway, I went back and tried it again from a different save, and got same result. Kind of funny actually.
All the mod does is just change the three doors to be opened by default so it's very odd that something else would actually happen. Must be a conflicting mod.
Still, I'm glad that at least it sort of worked even with a conflict.
