About this mod

Companions now accumulate items on their own after a while and gain Affinity for being well fed and more. They even consume them. All for the sake of sharing and mainly... immersion!

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Donations
Note
V.2.1 is out and quite a few things have been changed. I've shown most of it during my stream.
The DLC version has been released now.
After 600+ lines of script, here we are with the DLC version.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
About
This lets your companions accumulate items per day.
Every companion obtains items that would make most sense for them and they will have their Affinity raised by a bit if they have food, drinks, chems, cigarettes and oil(robot companions). They then finally consume an item of that sort.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Details
Affinity Gain: Between 0.1 and 2.5. This is doubled if a companion who needs to eat/drink has food and something to drink. It will always be a completely different Affinity gain and no companion will receive the same amount of Affinity gained. It'll always be between min.0.1 - max.5.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How: The companion needs to be your current companion (Unlimited Companion Framework support included).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When: This will give them their items once per day and also check once per day. A notification message will be displayed in the top left corner as well when your companion eats something/is well maintained.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Disabling: You will receive a Holotape upon launching the game now. It is called [Settings] Alex's Companion Inventory Overhaul and will be at the bottom of the list in your MISC Inventory tab. Additionally, you'll be able to remove it from your Inventory using an option inside the menu.
And finally, you can craft a copy at the Chemistry Workbench if you remove it and don't have it in your Inventory anymore.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Who gets what:
- Cait: Caps, Food, Drinks
- Codsworth: Food, Drinks, Oil
- Curie: Meds, Oil
- Danse: Ammo, Caps, Food, Drinks
- Deacon: Caps, Food, Drinks
- Hancock: Caps, Food, Drinks, Chems
- MacCready: Caps, Food, Drinks
- Nick: Cigarette Pack
- Piper: Caps, Food, Drinks
- Preston: Caps, Food, Drinks, Another settlement needs your help

- Ada: Electronics, Oil
- Gage: Caps, Food, Drinks
- Old Longfellow: Caps, Food, Drinks

Limits to avoid flooding Inventories:
After a companion reaches this amount, they will only obtain one more batch of their items until otherwise, thus the maximum amount + a tiny bit more is as follows for:
- Ammo: 150
- Caps: 200
- Chems: 3
- Cigarette Packs: 1
- Drinks: 2
- Food: 3
- Meds: 3
- Oil: 2
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dogmeat: This doesn't affect Dogmeat (forgot about him yet again). I'm joking. The reason why he's not included is because he doesn't have an affinity system.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Who else is unaffected: Besides Dogmeat, the only ones unaffected are Strong and X6-88. I thought it doesn't make much sense for them to pick up stuff like this since they don't need to. I also wouldn't know what to give them.
The Automatron Companion you build is unaffected as well due to compatibility concerns.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Installation
Install with NMM or manually.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Attention
Updating in case you buy the DLCs will work like a charm as long as you place this back in the same load order index.
This also works if you're updating from v.1.0 to v.2.0 since the scripts work differently. Just uninstall, wait 1 week in-game, update and then this will apply properly.
If you're updating from 2.0 on, just uninstall, wait 1 day in-game and then make a save and update.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Compatibility
This is completely standalone.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Uninstallation
Safe. Even safer since v.2.0.
