About this mod
A small irk fixed (for me at least): Burnt Books now look burnt and different from Overdue Books.
Your game will NEVER feel the same again.

::BUT WHY?::
A small irk whenever roaming the wasted ruins was these drab grey oblong things that told me they were
actually "Burnt Books" but were scarcely different from those "Overdue" ones, so I thought to myself,
"Hey, why not make them actually BE burnt - SHOW not tell."
So I did.
Your game will NEVER feel the same again.
GamerPoets are putting together a personal mod guide
comparison/reference footage library and Burnt Books made the cut!
Much gratitude to GamerPoets.
Comes in 1k and 2k AND NOW 512 flavours.

UPDATE :: v1.02 :: pushed contrast of the charring on covers; made spine/binding a little more obvious;
redid paper textures; fixed a small error in the cover.
:: just released a version for Burnt Magazines :: HERE ::
:: NEW release for Burnt Comics :: HERE ::
:: over at Burnt Magazines are actually BURNT, Vonlococo sought after a 512x512 version; it was
such a profound idea it has - like a flash - made its way over to here as well.
= Burnt Books are actually BURNT now comes in 512 flavour too! ::
::NMM INSTALL::
I highly recommend using the Nexus Mod Manager.
For those unsure about Nexus Mod Manager, this vid by Gopher might help:
FALLOUT 4: Installing Mods using Nexus Mod Manager (NMM) **UPDATED**
But if not, then...
::MANUAL INSTALL::
Drop unzipped file into Fallout4/Data folder.
Now you can either enable textures the old way by editing your Fallout4.ini at C:\Users\Your Username\Documents\My games\Fallout4::
Under [ARCHIVE] look for ...
sResourceDataDirsFinal
... and make sure it has ...
=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\, MUSIC\, SOUND\, INTERFACE\, MESHES\, PROGRAMS\, MATERIALS\, LODSETTINGS\, VIS\, MISC\, SCRIPTS\, SHADERSFX\
... if not, add this then save.
THEN, open Fallout4Prefs.ini and at the bottom find the line that says [LAUNCHER] - or add the line if its not there.
Under the [LAUNCHER] section add the line:
bEnableFileSelection=1
OR
THE NEW WAY:: You add the following lines to the Fallout4Prefs.ini file below the section marked [Launcher]:
bEnableFileSelection=1
You will need to add the following line in Fallout4Custom.ini:
[Archive]
bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
sResourceDataDirsFinal= (<---- this is intentionally blank)
::In fact I highly recommend Gopher's vids on enabling and installing mods manually::
