HHSOutfit2

If you are looking to add HHS support to your high heels conversion/mod, you've come to the right place

Lore:
Initially took to Tri0xin's original HHSOutfit script because I was getting CTDs when using it for my other little mod.
Somehow ended up rewriting the whole thing from half scratch =)

Err, wait... Now that there's default NPC handling in latest HHS release, why the heck should you even use this?!

Well!

1) Teh height effect will be suppressed while sitting or sleeping - but there's exceptions! Think store rug, for example. Doesn't make sense to cancel the effect while your NPC is standing there with their clipboard in their hands... Right?? *looks at image* Riiiiight. *nods*

2) You won't need any text files and so neither you nor your mod's users will get any drama from managing them. This should come in handy when everybody would end up with 100s or 1000s of these files; All of them in a single folder.

Also... 3) On loading a save game, the HHS effect will be properly applied to all Actors that have HHSOutfit2 scriptified Armor equipped. No matter if you fast travelled, slept, waited, teleported before saving or after loading or saved while riding a vertibird or... whatever. It just works. =)

4) It's fully event driven and doesn't rely on a cloak spell. Which seems to be a very good thing.

Meanwhile, using this couldn't get any more simple*:

- Give the HHSOutfit2 script a new namespace and compile
- Attach the script to your Armor(s)
- Configure the only property that exists on the script: HHSHeight. Set it to the value that would normally go into the HHS text file

and...

- You're done! Script takes care of all the rest and cleans up after itself whenever your Armor gets scrapped. YES! SCIENCE!

But... Has you still gots teh confuzzle so much???

There's a quick tutorial in the comment section (sticky post) to get you started! =)

Finally: Thanks and credits to Tri0xin for coming up with the original HHSOutfit script in the first place!

* Well....to be frank, it could: We hope to persuade PK0 to include HHSOutfit2 with the HHS download. And to add a custom keyword to the HHS.esp as well.

That way, modders could simply reference the script copy included with HHS, instead of supplying and maintaining their own and possibly overwriting each other's versions (because they derped out on changing the namespace). AND they could tag their custom furniture with the custom keyword when it doesn't make sense to cancel the HHS effect on sit. They would also not have to update their mods just because some internal detail in HHS/HHSOutfit2 changed, but would all get the updated HHSOutfit2 version at once, with the HHS update. Benefits, benefits, benefits!

The very best would of course happen if the extended HHSOutfit2 functionality could later on be built into HHS.dll itself...

But unless any of this becomes a thing: Check your namespaces, yo! ;)
