About this mod

Adds a toggle-able helmet light to KalibKadafi's Enclave Remnant's Armor mod. Works just like power armor headlamps & mining helmets. Directional light with 7 different lighting options.

Installation

-You must first install the original mod "Enclave Remnant's Armor" by KalibKadafi here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/39841

-Use a mod manager to install my mod

-Comes in 2 versions. A standard esp & an esl file. The helmets can be crafted under:


Chem Workbench / Utility / Enclave Remnant Helmet With Light

Chem Workbench / Utility / Enclave Remnant Tesla Helmet With Light


-7 light mods include default, extra bright, red, blue, purple, green & orange. They can be crafted and activated at the armor workbench.


Notes On The Mod

I wanted to expand on the incredible mod "Enclave Remnant Armor" by adding a toggle-able light to the helmet similar to what you would see on the vanilla X-01 power armor. It creates a standalone helmet that has the same paint swaps & stats as the original mod (current version 4.0 JULY 2019). Note that the helmet you find from the original mod in the sanctuary basement does not have light functions. You have to to craft my helmet to get light functions.

I disabled the subtle glow in the eyes from the original mod to achieve a better light effect. Also like the original mod it is a unisex mod so it has one model for male & female. I included the ballistic weave option for the helmet (if you completed the railroad quest).


Known Issues

This mod uses custom add on nodes numbering: 6016, 6017, 6018, 6019, 6020, 6021 & 6022. If you are using a mod that uses the same numbers for their add on nodes then there will be a conflict. See this page to get more info https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16497

Mostly vanilla bugs that you see with power armor headlamps or mining helmets. When you first craft the helmet & activate the light, the light source might be at your feet. Just deactivate the light and drop the helmet. Pick it up again, turn on the light and it should be in its default place.

Just like the vanilla mining helmets, if you enter power armor the light will deactivate.

Conflicts with the quest mod Chaotic Sun, compatibilty patch located in optional files (credit BlasterMasterCaster)
