She looks great in a fusion girl body. Thank you for this! It's extremely rare to have a character preset that looks this good using only vanilla assets. Great job!

If you get the save and load it up, enter the looks menu, and go to presets, you can save a preset yourself, which you can then access from a fresh/new game.

You did an amazing job with her, she looks kinda like Natalie Dormer (to me at least).

What mods are you using? because I loaded up the game and she doesn't look like your screenies. I even disabled the two I had and still looks all squahed and stuff

At the time of making her, the only modification I had to characters were the eyes I rebuilt to replace vanilla ones. So the only difference between this head and vanilla would be my eye normal map fix and the eye texture itself.

      Excellent!
Yeah, I think it has to do with the renaming. Like I mentioned below, I had a few saves that wouldn't show up until I typed Save_ at the beginning of the name. Others showed up just fine.

I'm experiencing a completely different issue, the game doesn't seem to be picking up on the .fos file at all. There is no Akira profile, nor is there an non-named or misnamed save under another profile. It seems other people aren't having this issue with your .fos, so I'm not sure why this is happening. Would you mind uploading a non-edited save file at some point? I absolutely adore your character.

You mean the save name? Yeah, I can just pop it open and save it again.
You clicked the "Show all saves"?

      EDIT: Okay, it's up.
I had that exact same thing happen to 3 save games I downloaded. The fix I came up with was to type in Save_ before the save game name and then they would show up. So in this case, take the Akira or Akira 2 and change the name to read save_akira or save_akira 2. For some reason the game sometimes doesn't recognize other saves.

Oh, and save games get different languages baked into them too if you're like me and like to change out the strings frequently. I have items that pop up in Russian, Romanian and UK English now even though I put the original vanilla strings back in lol.

When I load up your Akira character, there are not only a gazillion saves, but there is no save outside the vault. The lowest I see is one clocked in at 14h 34m at Saugus ironworks. Any ideas what's up?

Did you try hitting T and then show all saves? Shouldn't even be a numbered save. I manually named it via console save as Akira.

Sounds like all saves are intertwined and Bethesda really screwed the pooch again in the programming department, as they are so famous for doing.
There should only be one save that is titled Akira. But, I have noticed, due to the idiotic "profile" attempt they made which totally does not work, it seems as if all saves are the same save just at different intervals. You can test this out on any bridge that has landmines. Save before hitting the bridge. Now cross the bridge and let the landmines kill your character. Now when that last save loads, the mines will all be gone "for your safety".

Bethesda also managed to cause the save bloat by apparently never overwriting any saves. I can play a character for 30 minutes outside the vault and have 16 separate saves of it that I never made and that never overwrite. I have no idea why they did what they did. All I can attribute it to is that good ol' Bethesda stupidity. They are after all, the folks who insisted to me that the Flex modifier was Ornatrix and required tens of thousands of polys to work.

Here's another example of how screwed the save system is. On my main character, I found vault 81. Entered and did the tour thing, then went to use the elevator to go back up to the entrance and the elevator just got stuck on an infinite loop. It never reached any destination. I had to load a save game. That game also had the same issue. So I loaded the save I made before approaching the vault. As I entered, the sky inside turned into bright green and black blobs, then faded to brown and I was perpetually falling through a non existent interior. Yep. The bug that hit the elevator that wiped out the interior building also destroyed all my my previous save games as well.

Yeah there are like 30 saves. Just going under the Akira profile, there are literally 30 saves, the smallest being the 14hrs 34 minutes at Saugus Ironworks. The highest being something like 2days 19hrs and I think that was around the end of the institute. But there are absolutely no saves outside the vault. 14hrs at Saugus is the lowest. It looks likeAkira was wearing the skull bandana, eye goggles layered with the grey knit hat in the BoS orange uniform and Piper was with you. I went through every single save. And yeah--nothing outside vault 111. It's really too bad because I was looking forward to starting a game with her--she's totally badass. I don't know what else to do, because the save at the point you say you made it no longer exists.

And yeah--there are no named saves. The save file that I downloaded here, the one I dropped into the save folder isn't a solitary save. The order of the saves under just the Akira profile goes in order of play time, longest to shortest. It's how I can tell what you've done last. So scrolling down to the very last save--the smallest save is 14hrs 34 minutes. The saves looked to be somehow linked to your steam, as I've noticed my husband using my steam on another computer and I can load all his gazillion saves and characters on my computer. It's stupidly weird because the save folder isn't even under the steam folders, it's under my games in my documents. So yeah. That's a thing.

Okay, I can guarantee that not one of those 30 saves is mine. I never had a skull bandanna in her inventory and never had Piper as a follower.
Sounds like the saves mixed together somehow. I also never used the gray wool knit hat or the orange BoS suit.

When I get back tonight, I'll have my roommate download it ans see what happens on his.

To upload this I right clicked the Akira save I made and then hit Send To: Compressed Folder. I'll get it figured out.

Downloading it to my comp just has the one Akira save file in the zip. Try removing all of those phantom saves to a backup folder and downloading again?

It's weird because there was only one file I dropped into the save folder. It was just listed as 'Akira fos'. But starting up the game, the Akira profile came up and all the saves linked with the Akira character. See I hadn't started a profile yet and I didn't say 'show all profiles' because Akira was the only one to pop up. Then all the saves with that character...it's super weird.

The weirdest part is all the saves you described. Those aren't saves I ever had here lol. That whole automatic profile by character name is going to be a serious issue. I make thousands of saves with hundreds of characters that are different, but use the same dozen or so names when testing new mods. And if they are going to be intertwined with all of the other saves by that same name like some kind of pre programmed game virus, then I'm gonna end up with what I had for NWN back in the day... which is what spawned Bob the Minogon. Just have to make a generic Bob save for all testing purposes so as not to harm my actual game play saves.

We downloaded my zip from here again and it works just fine on my abacus and my roommate's rig. I'm gonna empty my saves folder and just have this one single save in, then save it again and see what happens. I'll have it uploaded in the Optional section today.

Omg you're awesome! Thank you so much. Like I said I have no idea what's going on with all the saves, but I can assure you that they are all under the profile Akira.

Well, with the landmine issue and my main character saves, all 100+ of them, being completely retroactively destroyed via vault 81's main interior vanishing by whatever Bethesda did to intertwine them, anything is possible.

Okay, there is a save called Akira 2 in the Optional section now. What I did was I removed everything except the Akira save game. Then I loaded that save and removed it from the saves folder as well, so it was empty. Then I just hit save and made a new save of it, then just renamed that save to Akira 2. Maybe it will work.
If it doesn't, and the save still does that to you, I'll strip out the whole folder and start a new character, then face exchange Akira onto it. That should work if there is nothing for the saves system to feed upon lol.

So... I was looking through all my saves and found a stack of pre vault saves for a character that is not mine. It is one of the save games I downloaded. The file I downloaded only has one save in it, but there are 4 saves going from the house to the vault and one save prior to naming the character, but it has the same name, all with the same character, so this apparently is a global issue. I also found some kind of repeated glitched save of my main character where the snapshot shows a manual save from a couple of days in, but the save time stamp is from less than an hour in. Have no clue on that one yet.

She'd make a good representation of Tank Girl (Comic version, not Lori Petty)

Yeah... I like Lori as an actress, but that movie just screamed miscast.
But then again I refuse to watch any X-Men movies because Glenn Danzig IS Wolverine. No Danzig, no me watching movie.

It's realy awesome, but hey - why outside the vault, AGAIN? Why not inside, in front of the elevator?
This really creeps me out. =\

I thought that would be obvious by now. Or at least obvious to anyone who has actually played the intro through. Because the game does not allow you to go back to standing in front of the elevator after you do the secondary edits.

That's what it's called. I know a lot of kids and even adults ( term used very loosely ) like to call it by its Orwellian newspeak name, but changing the name of something doesn't change what it is. Same goes for genres of cartoons.
