I'm having performance issues with this specific mod and this mod only (1.10.163 version of the game with F4z Ro D'oh version 1.1).
The mod does work, but the game keeps stuttering when this mod is activated.
I've tested it with both just this mod (no other mods installed) and with other mods installed with no difference in results.
I can confirm it's F4z Ro D'oh because when I remove this mod, the game performs as expected but re-adding this mod to the mod list then causes it to perform poorly again.
I went through all six pages of comments and nobody else seems to have mentioned this so it seems like I'm the only one affected but I just don't know the "why" and was wondering if anybody could potentially help me out.
I just saw your comment but also left mine, I had to narrow down my list of mods because of that annoying stutter as well! It was this one all along, I should have read your comment first lol
If only someone could make a mod which plays the .fuz audio files instead of leaving it up to the game engine because my game is no longer playing them the vast majority of the time; on a rare occasion it even plays voices of other characters. I've tried swimming deep underwater and adding the voice files to all my fallout4*.ini files with no luck.
so this mod basically just skip the non voiced dialogue rather than an akward silent lip sync is tht right ??? if so because the quest mod Vault 28 still have tht akward lip sync cause it have no voiced dialogue
No it plays a silent audio track, as I recall the entire reason was simply to give you enough time to read the text of modded subtitle dialogue. Without an audio track the subtitle text modders use to add custom dialogue disappears way to fast to be read. Before Fuz Roh Doh, every single piece of dialogue a mod added needed its own silent voice file, this replaces them with one file.
With all the AI voice mods adding voices to many mods these days, the need to use even one blank audio file may be coming to an end. It will likely stay as a fallback.
