About this mod

Organizes Business Settlements' craftable signs and objects into workshop categories.

Overview
This mod moves the craftable items from Business Settlements into their own workshop category, and organizes them into several sub-categories for easier navigation.

I love Business Settlements, but it puts almost all of its craftable items into the Signs menu in the Workshop, making it slow to navigate and hard to find anything.  So I made a little mod for myself that moved Business Settlements' items into a separate category under the Decorations menu.  Once I did that, I realized it was still practically unusable, due to the number of items in that menu.  So I took the plunge and organized all 417 craftable objects into eight manageable categories.  And this little mod is the result.

Menu Categories
The mod creates a new Business Settlements menu under the Decorations category in the workshop.  The items are further organized into eight subcategories:

  • Posters - as the name implies
  • Wall Signs - small to medium sized signs that lie flat against a wall
  • Business Signs - various types of signs for specific businesses
  • Folding Signs - free-standing sandwich board signs
  • Billboards - very large flat signs
  • Graffiti - like it says
  • Banners - big draped cloth signs
  • Misc Objects - various odds and ends

Technical Details
  • The menu is injected using a simple script, so it won't conflict with any other mods or mess up your menu.
  • The plugin is an esl-flagged esp, so it won't count toward your plugin limit.
  • This mod includes no assets from the original mod, it is only a patch and requires the original mod in order to work.

Installation
  • First, install Business Settlements.
  • Then, install this mod. Ensure that this mod loads after Business Settlements.
  • Profit!

Uninstallation

I didn't make an uninstall chem or anything like that.  So you'll need to remove the menu before uninstalling the mod.  To do that, simply open the console and run the command "stopquest businesssettlementsmenuquest".  When you close the console, you'll see a message "Business Settlements Menu Removed".  Save your game, quit, and uninstall the mod.
