Well, I have figured out what Is causing the Reset Glitch, and I CAN fix it, Very easily actually, BUT unfortunately I must wait for the next version of Fo4Edit to be released, as it will now contain what I need to do it.
I'm curious as well, bud, but he probably doesn't know; I believe the last release was Dec 26th, so it could be sometime soon. It shouldn't be too long, but you never know.
Well the latest version of FO4Edit released about a week and a half ago, just letting you know in case you missed it. Can't wait to use this mod once you get the reset bug sorted. ^^
Any updates? I started over because of this mod so im really excited but dont want to lose future power armor upgrades. Anyone know if this glitch is still valid with purchased frames?
Installed this mod. Ensured esps are last in the load order; Jamaica Plain setltment is not expanded, at least not along the X and Y axis. It might be taller, I don't know. Nor is Sanctuary, however Zimonja is. Those are the only three I tested.
Tried this mod, have no other mods that would conflict, and it shrunk the size of my build area at starlight to no bigger than the shack that the workshop was in. 0/10.
Oh but it is the mod because until this mod is used the patch is not required. I had played over 3000 hours, dozens of play throughs, without any problem at all, then upon installing this mod suddenly Starlight Drive-In's borders are wonky.
I had a similar issue, areas that should have been build able were not so I decided this was not the build area patch for me and switched to All Settlements Extended. I cannot remember the order of how I removed this mod and applied the other one but the problem persisted with the All Settlements Extended esl for whatever reason, common glitch or leftover problem. I did some looking around and found the solution, for me, to be entering "resetquest patch_1_6" into the console, apparently it was a problem that existed and was patched and immediately it seemed to fix my problem.

So what's the deal about not letting us use Nexus Mod Manager for the download? Is there a technical reason or are you just biased against people who like things a little easier?
Just wanted to say that this mod is awesome. Downloaded it ages ago for the freedom to build towers and a little more elbow room on some of my more ridiculous structures, but never really pushed it until today. Did you know there's a tiny raider outpost north of Sanctuary, across the river? I scrapped the whole thing, then most of the forest, rocks, and debris (which includes a female mannequin on a bed with a stimpack stabbed into its chest...) surrounding Sanctuary, made it out to Red Rocket and nearly set foot in Concord before I finally hit the limit.
I had fun scrapping stuff even in the vanilla game, even when I had no intention whatsoever of actually building anything there, so this combined with Spring Cleaning allows for hours and hours of world-unraveling joy. Thank you for enabling my habit! ^^

Also, does the reset bug still occur?
