If "all the other crap" is in reference to the list in the required mods menu, then no, you don't need it. However there may be some weirdness with vanilla assets appearing in improbable places. Try it and see what happens....I doubt it will be game breaking.
Then again, if you are simply using vanilla assets, I don't see why you'd consider installing this blueprint in the first place.
I'm running 380 mods currently. Just didn't want to get into transfer blue print mods, cause it seems like so many mods are required for them to run. I just want a cleaned up farm that don't crash all the time. All the other cleaned up vers. always crash on me. Thanks, for the info I might try it on a new game save. Staci
The blueprint didn't work, the farm is just as messy as before. Oh well, do love your pictures of this mod though. You did a wonderful job. Wish I could mod, I just don't get it. I've been using jennacave's clean mods for 5 years, but got a new computer recently and now 4 of them just crash my game every time I go there. So I'm stuck with some ugly farms. But thanks for trying. Staci
With 380 mods there could be any number of conflicts causing your ctd issues. I run the "clean and simple" series with no crashes. LOOT catches a lot of the conflicts and has instructions on how to clean any "dirty" mods. Good luck with it.
Just downloaded and installed settlement today and it fails to connect all the power inside and out. It goes through the Power Connection sequence but when it finishes none of the exterior or interior items are wired together. Just an F.Y.I. anf there is a bit of terrain missing under the area of the Gorilla Cages. perhaps the latest Clean and Simple removed a chunk of terrain.
thanks for the heads up. Wiring; check the small generator located in the gable on the workbench side (Pic 33/35) from memory. All power originates from this point. I don't have this settlement build on my current run unfortunately... he only gives me generic responses on the few times I've passed through his homestead. Very possible that the terrain has been altered, you can stack the foundations however. Might be a simple workaround until I can get back to F4... (outer worlds and RDR2 are eating my playtime atm)
