Purpose
Changes the footstep sound set of all Assaultrons (including any Automatron companions equipped with Assaultron legs) to the nearly-silent "barefoot" set.
Requirements
Usage
No special instructions for usage. The change in sounds will take effect immediately after installation.
NOTE: This mod changes only the Assaultron footstep sounds. Other bot sounds, like the background hum of the bot's torso, or the whirring of the Assaultron claw arms, will still be audible when the bot is very close to you. Also, weapons-related sounds are not changed. If you need completely silent Assaultrons, check out Silent Assaultrons by dasmodem as an alternative solution.
WARNING: This mod will change the footstep sounds for all Assaultrons -- so watch out for stealthy enemy bots!
Compatibility
Any mod which changes the AssaultronRace characteristics may conflict. If possible, position this mod below (after) all other Assaultron related mods in your load order.
This mod does not install, remove, or replace any sound files; all remapping is done internally by the ESL (or ESP) file.
Installation
Use Vortex or Nexus Mod Manager to install either the ESL or the ESP version.
Uninstallation
Uninstall as normal using Vortex or Nexus Mod Manager.
