The Lore behind the weapon:
The lone wanderer couldn't believe what Codsworth had told him. 200 years had gone by in a blink of an eye. Everything was in ruins and he knew he would have to arm himself. The 10mm pistol he had found would suffice for now, but he imagined it simply would not be enough. The wanderer remembered back to a time on a sunny afternoon at a picnic when relatives had mentioned that one of the old family members who was a war veteran had donated his old service pistol to the Museum of Freedom.
Could it still be there after all this time somewhere inside that museum in a display case? Funny coincidence that the wanderer had to investigate Concord to speak to possible survivors who were hopefully still there. The wanderer briskly gathered what little that could be scrounged and headed north towards the unknown...

Install WWII Colt M1911A1 by leo2link, Use mod manager to install/overwrite or
Install mod, download replacer, unzip, copy to your Fallout 4 data folder, overwrite/enable the replacer .esp in your mod manager.
