It gives you double damage (2 shells at a time) with a slightly heavier potential for stagger. Here's what you need to know…
- Each reload you execute loads two shells into the Scattergun. It has a maximum of 2 shells that can be loaded, just like every other double barreled shotgun.
- No custom models, textures, etc. were used. Again, it's the same as any other double barreled shotgun.
- Like the Laser Musket, in VATS only one shotgun shell will be fired at a time. It's only in "Free-Fire" mode that the 2 shell blast effect will be performed. THIS CAN NOT BE CHANGED!
- It is in the leveled list for Double Barreled Shotguns and will show up about 50% of the time (rather than a standard double barreled shotgun).
- While it is available in the levelled lists, I have also dropped one into the Cryolator cage in Vault 111 to make it easy for you to find/test.
- Legendary effects can still be found or applied as with all standard weapons in the leveled lists.
