this is more a question than a comment , I have a great mod that I want to use the jacket from in outfit studio it appears way above the body that I am using , when I move it to body it shows the alteration in outfit studio but not in game , how can I fix this issue please?

you see it fine in OS, but in game looks deformed/broken right? if thats the case, the way to fix it is already in the tutorial.

    Thanks for the helpful tutorial!

BTW, any tricks for copy bone reference to headgear? Cuz FO4 separates the head mesh into 2 part; front and back, and I haven't been able to wrap my head around which one to use as reference. Some pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! for headgear maybe this trick could work. take note of the coordinates used to fit in place, then make the changes you want in the mesh. now with the noted coordinates (x-y-z) put the mesh back to its original position. Ex; gas mask is way below face, right click>move input Z:120, generally this will put the gas mask where it should be, make the changes you want, now right click>move input Z: -120, it will go back to its original position. Export it and it should be working in game without the need of bone copy. i hope it helps!

Ah i get it. Bring the object to head level, edit the mesh, then bring it back to the original position. I’ve never really thought about that, thanks

Hey thank you for this tutorial, i will endorse as soon as nexus let me :). I have question though, do you have tutorial how to apply skeleton to ported assets? for example i have clothing set meshes from different game and i want to import that meshes to bodyslide. But everytime i tried that, the clothing set isn't align with the body.
