This mod was made to allow the ammunition type switching functionality of New Calibers to the Winchester 1897 weapon.

I am aware that there are other patches, because I used them. After I did, I discovered that they are defunct. I finally tried getting into modding myself and I got to find out why. The other patches reference TrenchGun.esp as a master, but at some point, wardaddy75 changed the name to win1897.esp. Because a master file was changed, the other patches could not apply their changes. I couldn't change the masters due to the master change, so I made this patch from the ground up.
