Description

It begins.

As it turns out, Fallout 4 is built on top of Skyrim. The file paths are more-or-less the same as always. The moon we're seeing is Secunda, the smaller moon of Tamriel. So, I grabbed a mod off of Skyrim Nexus and changed the names around. Now you'll want the night to last FOREVER!

This mod provides two options for a properly Nightmare-ish Moon. One stylized, and one more realistic. Both are oversized to show detail, and have phases. This is being kept separate from my other moon replacers due to how permissions work.

I have big plans for Fallout 4. Horse plans. Check back after the Creation Kit is released.

None of the texturing was done by me. At all.

This mod is uploaded under the Conversion Permission, which allows it to be converted to other games with credit given to the original author.

Install instructions
================================================

1) Navigate to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4

2) Move the provided Data folder for the moon of your choice. Shouldn't need to overwrite anything, unless you already have texture mods for the skybox.

3) In the folder C:\Users\\Documents\My Games\Fallout4, open Fallout4.ini in any text editor and find the line:
sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\
and change it to:
sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\

4) You're ready to go!

Uninstall Instructions

1) Navigate to:
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\textures\sky

2) Delete the files:
moonshadow.dds
secunda_full.dds
secunda_half_wan.dds
secunda_half_wax.dds
secunda_one_wan.dds
secunda_one_wax.dds
secunda_three_wan.dds
secunda_three_wax.dds

3) That's it!
