Description
A quick and simple fix for something that has bothered me since Fallout 4's release: The razor-sharp shadows cast by the Wire Barrels (Fires) in the game.
This texture replacer removes any shadows above the barrel base, while the immediate area around the base keeps a soft shadow effect.
Note: Any Fire Barrels found in the world using the Shadowcaster light property will still have their shadows. These are dynamic shadows casted by the actual mesh, so this mod cannot affect them. You can spot them by their dancing shadow, and your character in 3rd person will cast a shadow as well.
Installation
Install with your mod manager, or drop the /textures folder and its content to your Fallout 4/Data folder.
