Not sure if it is a thing to be patched for custom companions, but does she also use the revive stimpack on the player when the player dies as the vanilla companions?
Hi, Here to report a bug on Heater Casdin crashing my game , with just horizon and DLC 's installed .
Weston Pump :
Upon using the elevator ...the game crash..tried many time with no good results; the second is walking my way back to the main entrance and before approaching the door the game crash; i had to enter a console command to move the character to a settlement to leave the area.
Vault 81: using the main elevator crash the game, dismmining heater and then using the elevator also crash the game ,dismissing her and waiting for her to leave the " Area Cell" still crash the game , i had to uninstall the mod to use that damn elevator( now i have to grind again the 900affinity points i've earned..
Has nothing to do with Heather or this patch, properly loadorder issue. Reason for comment Have no issue myself and used that elevator plenty of times with Heather.
i just have only Heater mod , and is properly loaded . is not working i can post a log file when the game crash because i don't know how to read it ...honestly . what i do know...is that i had to remove her mod and the patch for her mod all together.
This patch has over 40k downloads, off course not all are the new horizon 1.93 but wouldn´t you think that this comment page plus bug section, would be overfloaded with comments about your issue. So I suggest reinstall and make sure your load order is 100% correct.

You could have just said " yes i had the same issue" or " not i had no issue at all with that specific mod " but i would gladly take a look or give you a proper answer ...instead of being rude and not reading what i said ... is it properly loaded ? OF course it is
i have a 835days on survival mode with over 350 mods installed and they work ...i 've been around for a very long time but it matters not ...
Rude, just replying in short fast comment since there are no bug in this patch, thoose crashes you experience i cannot make myself. Have open this patch in xedit scanned evry line and no error´s. Only info you have provide with is that you have base game - heather - horizon and this patch. How am anyone gonna provide any info for you, no loadorder provide nothing about which MM you use. Which is basic for helping. And just to clearifye 99 procent off error are loadorder issue and false installment. You do not pay for anything I replied for free in my spare time trying to give advise with the info you have given and I am rude. No more help from me.
Heather's upgraded weapon purchased from the Black Market seems to require an ammo called "Cell" and not regular fusion cells like her pistol so she never uses it. Any ideas what it could be?
Just go in Xedit and change the ammo to reagular Fusion Cell ammo. This patch has the correct keywords, but Horizon itself gives the wrong keyword. Haven´t found out where in horizon I need to edit CompanionFusionCell so it uses the right FusionCell asnd not only Cell

Thank you. I've been using Heather as a companion but even without taking her dumb "medicine", she felt overpowered compared to Horizon's tweaked companions.
It's very strange. She starts with a 100% broken weapon but can shoot with it. Then I accidentally uneqipped all her gear and then she has a shotgun out of nowhere which is also 100% broken. Then I took her shotgun away and gave her back her 100% broken laser rifle and equiped it and then she ran bare fists into a minigunner supermutant. She shows the model of the equipped laser rifle when I press T but as soon as the fight starts she goes fist fight. When I give her the 100% broken shotgun, she uses it from waaaay to far away making zero damage.
idk what you guys are talking about... she is perfectly fine for me, no broken shotgun nor laser, and she stick with the weapon i select
the only problem so far is that detox tea seems to have the wrong magnitude. and the fact that she sells refreshing beverage might be a little bit unbalanced for horizon
but of course, horizon changed some perks, so her perks might be outdated, but right now she doesn't seem to be unbalanced

She updated to 2.6 and the old patches for 2.5 don't work and break her.
