Note from Moderation Some antivirus engines have been throwing fits about the archives on the Files page. Rest assured, the archives are clean. If you're still worried, you can always extract the archive manually and run each file through VirusTotal, a tool that scans each file with up to 70+ of the most popular antivirus and antimalware engines.
If you have problems with flickering in Nuka-World, please be sure to load both NWR and VNW as late as possible in your load order. I know why this happens - mods like Boston FPS Fix overwrite my optimisations and the game gets confused if my mods loads before. The optimisations are needed to retain good FPS while still having my changes.
Would it be possible to get an optional file with just the previs changes in an otherwise empty esl + geometry files so that I can override PRP or similar mods?
EDIT: Nevermind, did it myself by extracting bsas and deleting everything not present in the PRP files. I'll see if it crashes or if I have to carry over some cell changes.
I've published a combined patch for PRP version .74. Everything looks good in my testing. I used PJM's scripts and the latest CKPE. Only fix I had to do was in the Nuka Town Store, where there was a poster with really bad z-fighting.
Tyrone mentioned that the Pack splintered off and is being led by Nathan but when I go to the Amphitheater it just has the original Pack members like nothing happened. Is this not supposed to happen or are they located somewhere else?
Has anyone been able to recruit Francesca as companion? I sided with her in "Finishing the Hat" (it was not easy as I had to lead H. very far away during the confrontation or she would go hostile no matter what choice). Then I spoke to her in "An End Has A Start" and she said she would like to travel with me and gave me a key to my room. But now, when I try to talk to her to recruit her, she won't respond.
I've always been able to have her as a companion, but it's possible a bit of script lag didn't execute the stage needed for her recruitment dialogue to show up. I think it's SetStage VNW_CompFrancescaQuest 5
IIRC, Francesca was also supposed to have the "friends" and "more than friends" options and other stages were supposed to be set to unlock her perk and possible romance. As you said, no other stages were set. Which leads me to think that her infatuation was not unlocked on your end - as she has no "neutral" companion dialogue.
You can try to play around with sqs, if not, tomorrow UK time, I'll give you the commands to get the infatuation working.
In the conversation during "An End Has a Start" I had picked the "love" hard persuasion check, and it passed OK. I've since experimented with the stages for VNW_CompFrancescaQuest and found that stage 26 was the one that unlocked her perk and her hire dialogue for me. She is now following me and her dialogue tree works OK (even the "talk" option works although the "how are you feeling" prompt results in a pause but not a verbal answer). Thanks again for the quest ID as that helped me get it working.
Hey. How do I know if this mod started? I received Operator vs Operator. Lizzie was already dead (I did a quest with another mod that required her death) so I just talked to him and got caps. That's it. No further quests, I finished open season and recruited Lazy Susan as companion. What am I missing?
Hey. I couldn't figure it out on my own, so I had to ask. 1.The quest named "Infiltration of the Traders" can't be completed after finding evidence. When I talk to Henry, there are no dialogues, only "That's all". 2.I've finished the Exiles and Traders quests, the ones given by Henry and Nicole. Now, what's next? I still have those unfinished quests hanging over me, like "Home Sweet Home" and "Open Season". For some reason, Shank is hostile to me. I killed Shank and talked to Henry. Through the dialogue with Henry, I cleared all Nuka World places. After that, the Radio Nuka World says that I turned against the raiders, but I still haven't even started "Open Season". What should I do?
1. As far as I can remember, Henry would need to be in the classroom for you to turn in the evidence. 2. Shank has always been hostile after the takeover by the Traders, not sure what causes it as Gage and the others are fine with the player if they got rid of the raiders sneakily. I decided to keep it as a feature instead. But very strange that you still have the base DLC Raiders quests active, and it seems like you didn't kill the raider leaders. But VNW's Traders quests cannot start without you getting rid of the raiders somehow. Though, it is possible to still have Open Season active because you have to speak to MacKenzie to finish it - because the power turns on and the collar removals happen after you speak to her, and I didn't want to fiddle with it.
Damn, there are still some odd things happening. Regarding "Home Sweet Home", it can be considered finished i think after I killed Shank. But with "Open Season", I didn't kill the raider bosses because I just replaced them with synths while following Lucy and the Institute Exiles path. There's an odd thing happening when I teleport to "Fizztop Mountain" or "The Parlor" - they are not cleared, unlike when I go there through the door. However, the "Bradberton Amphitheater" doesn't work like that; it's just not cleared, and the boss Mason lies dead with a mark from the quest "Open Season". I did talk to MacKenzie, well, she didn't help finish this quest (I think I can resurrect them and kill; it's not like a problem, more like just weird). Oh, and all traders don't have collars because I did turn on the power after finding Lucy dead and talking to Masha (I think, not sure). 1.I did read the comment section, and I don't get it. Should I work with the Institute from the Commonwealth (with "Father") to be able to save Lucy, or am I just being delusional and she cannot be saved?
Right - what essentially happens is that the synth leaders are supposed to be killed off, due to Nicole's new policies. You should speak to MacKenzie and the quest should complete, as normal. But apparently on your end, she couldn't complete it but the collars were removed. In that case, do CompleteQuest DLC04RaiderKickout
I don't set locations to be cleared, so I think it should be fine.
You'd need to work with the Institute to save Lucy, but honestly, the upcoming third mod will have the Gunners contract out Lucy's death. And you'd need to cause Lucy's death to work with the Gunners and Traders in the third mod. So if that sounds up your alley, you wouldn't need to worry about saving Lucy.
Thank you very much for your help and the work on the mod! Regarding the cleared places, I meant that literally the entire Nuka World has transformed and become cleaner, including the locations where the two gangs of raiders hang out. That's all. I'm not sure if this is provided in the vanilla version of the game, as I haven't played this DLC since its release
In that case, this mod cleans up the parks, not vanilla. The entire Nuka-Town should be cleaned up, except the interior Fizztop Grille which can optionally be done later, as to not conflict with FG player home mods.
Be careful. PERHAPS SPOILERS FROM THIS MOD. . . . . . When i go find Sierra and Bradberton, at computer in left room i find a copy of DNA Bradberton. Then, i have 2 quest from Nicole, the first is have a copy of Nuka-Cola formula, this is only can be done cutting the power from Bradberton. And the second quest is i must do success for Sierra and Bradberton go away from Nuka-World.
Must i do something before this? I am using too the mod "Bradberton-Pocket" with a robot with iced Bradberton head copy.
I can't see how you can have both quests at the same time. But since you do, you don't need to do anything before. Be sure to fetch the formula first and then deal with Sierra and Bradberton.
Not at the same time. I have mistaken with the vanilla game. First i do the quest "Find the formula", and then Nicole give me the second quest. All i have to do is follow the quest markers.
But, is the Bradberton DNA at the computer in left room from your mod? If yes, is useful for something?

:^) WTF? You replied fast. I'm still doing my investigations...
Verified. No conflicts. Wow... Something fundamentally deeper is going on here.
