Turns Eden Meadows Cinemas into a fully-functional settlement.

Did you always want to settle the drive-in cinema on The Island? Now you can!
In fact, you aren't even the first one. Some ambitious settlers tried to do so already. They even brought Fog Condensers, but didn't quite manage to put them up them for some reason...

Warning: Vortex, LOOT, or similar "smart" load order sorting tools might break this mod by sorting it too high! Settlement
mods must always be loaded after anything else which affects the same location!

Installation
MAKE A SAVE BEFORE INSTALLING! Save while somewhere far away from Eden Meadows!
Settlement mods can be fickle, and can never be uninstalled from a save.

Install using your favorite mod manager. If you insist on using NMM, make sure you use at least 0.65.11 from github. If it still doesn't work, use a better mod manager.

I haven't tested the various settlement-related radiant quests yet. However, I think they should work. I am also sufficiently confident in this mod to have enabled it in my own playthrough.

Update 1: The Fog Condensers quest definitely works!

See also this article about possible problems.

Features/Changes done
  • Workbench with a building area covering the parking lot, spawning Far Harbor settlers
  • Navmesh precuts for a lot of objects (see also "Scrapping" below)
  • Broke some SCOLs for easier scrapping (usually tables with trash piles)
  • Combined some things into SCOLs for easier scrapping (the film reels)
  • Unlocked the previously locked-off room behind the south screen.
  • Added a way to build Fog Condensers. Doing so also disables the patches of radiation and fog in the building area, and enables the workbench in the first place. The Condensers are vanilla, they actually work for the "Condensers Down" radiant quest.
  • Made the Hermit Crab appear right away, instead of the second time you visit the location (otherwise, it would spawn the second time you visit the location).
  • Cleaned with xEdit
  • Regenerated previsibines.
  • Moved "deleted" objects into an interior cell and added them to a dummy fake precombine

Scrapping
Certain objects were linked to scrap together. Usually, objects will take trash piles/bushes around them with them on scrapping. In the diner, the garbage is linked to the rubber mats, the Nuka Cola, Vim and cigarette machines. (You don't need to scrap the machines, just move them a bit to get rid of linked garbage)

Some objects without vanilla scrap recipes were also given navmesh precuts and were linked together. I recommend using something like Place Everywhere or Scrap Everything to actually scrap them.

Following objects should be safe to scrap:

  • All vehicles
  • The loudspeakers next to the cars. They will take the sound marker with them.
  • Most piles of garbage (some places might look a bit odd without them. Save before in case you don't like it)
  • The small hut with the Workbench in it. The workbench itself has a precut, too, in case you want to move it somewhere else.
  • The toilet building next to the entrance. The stalls should take the doors with them, the walls the signs and stain decals.
  • The tables in the diner. They should take the debris on them with them.
  • The film reels in the rooms behind the screens.
  • The shipping crate next to the workbench.

Following objects are NOT safe to scrap:
  • Anything related to the screens and projectors. I didn't dare to touch anything related video playback, scrapping them will probably leave it all in a weird state.
The rest shouldn't even be scrappable anymore, as it's parts of previsibines.

Compatibility
If socharis' "Recruitable Settlers" is installed, Shae will be living behind one of the screens. She will not count as part of the settlement, and neither will her bed. Use the workshop menu to send her to a settlement, and scrap or store the bed. Also, it must be loaded BEFORE this mod.

RedRocketTV's "Eden Meadows Cinema Player Home (Far Harbor)" blocks access to the storeroom where the fog condenser parts are stored. As a workaround, you could TCL through the wall to kill the ghoul and build the condensers.
Also, it changes the cells, therefore it must be loaded BEFORE this mod.

For the Previsibines Repair Pack, there is now an alternative main file.
