I'll start with the fact I'm not really a modder just a guy who enjoys poking various stuff in modded games so use my knowledge with reserve as I am in a learning process of how it all works myself :)

what is this file for

this file  blocks overlays from being applied to your NPC's faces and if this file actually helps u get rid of the bug it means your bug is caused by some of the overlays in your game be it face dirts, makeup, eyebrows, tattoos and whatever is considered an overlay these days
with that said using this file u probably won't have eyebrows on your character nor the custom makeup and such

the moment u remove this file from your game folder everything returns back to normal including the bug 
its just a material swap file and cant cause any dmg to your game whatsoever

This file DOES NOT add or remove any overlays in your game, just simply blocks whatever you have

Usage of this file

use it as a troubleshooting tool, as it is faster to plop this in-game then uninstall 20000 overlays, if your faces look nice and clean again, remove the file and start eliminating your overlays 1 by 1 to see which one gave u a black face bug and remove it when found.if it does nothing your problem lies elsewhere and I can't really help u with that altho there are lots of successful mods here that address this bug here on this site

if ure lazy or can't be bothered just keep this file and draw eyebrows on you're female faces(slap eyebrow overlay directly on female diffuse map:) with paint.net, photoshop or whatever I can offer a tutorial on that if anyone is interested drop me a message)

so this file can fix ure faces but will also pluck the eyebrows out, wash faces with soap, use ninja suicide ambush while u sleep at night and cause zombie apocalypse in a town near u....so I consider u are warned beforehand and complaints won't stop zombies or the poor ninja!

with that said 

Make the commonwealth faces great again!!!


this is only for females I managed to remove the bug on males using this mod hence I never made something like this for males

NOT compatible with 8K CBBE as it has material face file optimized for that mod

I personally use Scarlet's face presets and Textures with 4k CBBE body maybe it helps with troubleshooting or making this work thought I put it here just in case
