I know exactly how you feel. As soon as I got that mutation I thought "Hey, this seems pretty good" up until I used any weapon that didn't have a scope, or went into dialogue with my weapon drawn. Spent around 500 caps on Rad-Away just to get rid of it.
Well, I removed it with FO4 Edit, there isn't seem to be any ill effect. The mod seems to works normally without that as well. I just removed all the things I saw that got a tag name "Chameleon".
How did you find the perk id to remove? When I search "help mutation 0" or "help chameleon 0" the console command list is not long enough to actually show the perk "Mutation - Chameleon" to remove Nvm I didnt realize you used FO4edit
^ this! Discovered this yesterday. Thought I was going to have to stop playing until I realized what it was. Horrible effect indicator for a great mutation. Going to open it up and see if I can remove the visual and auditory effect cues.
So been trying out the two mutation mods on Nexus ; I recommend this one (Simply works ; to clarify this was in different save games & such)
Currently Fallout 76 - Mutations does not seem to work (several people including myself having issues on the recent version & you can't install a older version as a headsup) correctly because radaway & decon arches do not cure (So you'll need to buy a 5k cap rare item from medical venders, buy the recipe for it(like 15k) & than produce it (expensive!) or find it, Now why I am saying this ; The mutations in that mod can be a touch crippling at first (does have class freak after 100 mutations (adjustable) such as -70% damage dealt (so if on very hard a Player damage x 0.25 x 0.3 is the formula if I had to make a bet so 100 damage goes down to 7.5)
to sum it up ; This mod simply works & the FO76 mutation mod doesn't seem to have a patch yet to make it work
Sorry if this seems like a silly question, but if I have no mutations and am just wandering around soaking rads, this mod gives me a random chance to be "infected" with a mutation, right?
Hello, the author, I think we need peck in radiation 76: Classic freak. The maximum peck value of radiation 4 is only 10, which means that after using your module, players can only use several of them
can you make a perk called class freak, like in 76 where the negative effects are reduced 75%, and startched genes where you dont get unwanted mutations etc.please. thank you for amazing mod
For someone who the mouse don't work in pip boy, try to, save your game, to load a old save where the pip-boy working and then load you curent game and it will be work , for me it work, hope i help (not englisch sry)

it will list all the mutations and their ID. all mutation ID's start with 1200
